12/09/1927-003IN THE MATTER OF TREE PLANTING ON NORTH AND SOUTH CLAUDINA, NORTH AND SOUTH EMILY, NORTH AND SOUTH PHILADELPHIA, NORTH AND SOUTH OLIVE MENROU, KROEGER, SANTA FE, SABINA, TOPEKA, PAULINE, NORTH AND SOUTH VINE NORTH AND SOUTH BUSH, NORTH Alert SOUTH ROSE, NORTH AND SOUTH CITR6N, NORTH UNSS, NORTH PINE, AND NORTH LOS ANGELES STREETS, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, on the 22nd day of December, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 212 declaring its intention to order the planting of trees on North and South Claudina, and South Emily, North and South Philadelphia, North and South Olive, Melrose, Kroeger, Saute, Fe, Sabina, Topeka, Pauline, North and South Vine, North and South Bush, North and South Rose, North and South Citron, North Janos, North Pine, and North Los Angeles Streets, In the City of Anaheim, and WHEREAS, the said Resolution of Intention directed the Planning Commisstion of the City of Anaheim to file with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim a written report showing the plans and specifications for the proposed work, an estimate of the cost of said improvement, a diagram of the property affected or benefited by the proposed work and improvement, and the proposed assessments of the total amount of costs and expenses of the proposed improve- ment, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim on the 5th day of January, 1928, filed with the City Clerk ; af..,. a City of Anaheim, this report, in writing, showing the above ment facts, and this City Council having duly considered said�rep©rt,_ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the C �Council of-. City of Anaheim, that the report of the Planning C'&mmipsion for the planting of trees on the above -named streets the same is hereby approved and adopted, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Thursday the 9th "day of Feb- ruary, 1928, be and the same is hereby fixed as the day, 8 o'clock P.M. as the hour and the council chamber of said city council as -1- the place, when and where anyone having any objections to the pro- posed work and improvement or to the proposed assessments therefor, or any objections to the work to be done as recommended in said report, may be heard by said city council. All of said work and improvement shall be done under and in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act Providing for the Planting, Protection, Mainten- ance, Removal and Change of Trees, Shrubs, Plants and Grass Along and In Public Streets, Avenues, Lanes, Alleys, Courts, Places and Path -ways within Municipalities, and Providing a Method for the Assessment of the Costs and Expensda Thereof," approved June 7, 1915. All of said work will be done in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Planning Commission and adopted by this City Council, which plans and specifications are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby instructed to cause a notice of the proposed work and improvement and of the passage of this Resolution to be published for a period of tau days in the Anaheim Bulletin, a daily newspaper published and circulated In the City of Anaheim, and to cause a similar notice to be posted as provided by Law. The foregoing Resolution was approved and signed by me this 12th. day of January, 1928. Mayor of the City of Inaheim.
