RESOLUTION
OF THE CITY C OUNCIL O THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
BE IT RESOLVED:
That the public interest and convenience require
that the City of Anaheim acquire the following
described real property to be used as and for a
dumping ground:
The Southerly five and one half acres of the westerly
ten acres of the northerly twenty five/and one half acres
of lot eighteen (18) Anaheim Extension as per map
thereof made by William Hamel and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County; also
the westerly twenty (20) feet of the northerly four
and one half acres of said westerly ten acres of said
northerly twenty fibe and one half acres of said lot
eighteen (18) .
Said tract is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said lot
eighteen (18); thence eastwardly along the northerly
line of said lot, twenty (20) feet) thence southwardly
parallel with the westerly line of said lot, three
hundred seventy one and twenty five hundredths (371.25)
feet; thence eastwardly parallel with the northerly
line of said lot, five hundred eight (508) feet; thence
southwardly, parallel with the westerly line of said
lot, four hundred fifty three and seventy five hundredths
(453.75) feet; thence westwardly, parallel with said
northerly line of said lot, five hundred twenty eight
(528) feet; thence nouthwardly along said westerly line
of said lot, eight hundred twenty five (825) feet to the
place of beginning and containing an area of five and
sixty seven hundredths ( 5.67) ao:ce s.
Reserving therefrom for roads, railroads and ditches, a
strip of land twenty (20) feet wide along, adjoining and
each side of the quarter section lines; -also reserving
the use and control of cienegas and natural streams of
water, if any, naturally upon, flowing across, into
or by said described tract, and reserving the right of
way for and to construct irrigation or drainage ditches
through said tract to irrigate or drain the adjacent lan
Also reserving for street purposes the northerly thirty
three (33) feet of the westerly twenty (20) feet of the
above described land. Also reserving to grantors all
rights to oil and gas which may be developed on the
propertyherein conveyed.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City of Anaheim pay by warrant, drawn on
the Treasury of the City, the sum of Twenty Five Hundred
($2500.00) Dollars, which is the reasonable value of
said land, to J. B. COLLINGS and WINIFRED M. COLLINGS,
and C. A. PEARSON and the City Council does hereby authorize
the City Clerk of said City to draw said warrant on the
treasury of the City of Anaheim to pay the same.
The foregoing resolution was signed and approved by
me this 11th day of August, 1927.
