RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 205.
A RESOLUTION OF TAE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION OF ORNAMENTAL
STREET LIGHTS ON EAST AND ";EST BROADWAY IN SAID CITY.
RESOLITED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience re-
quire and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of
the Cit of Anaheim to order the following described street work
to be done in said. city, to-17lit:
That ornamental street liChts with two-light cast iron
standards be installed on both sides of East and West Broadway
Exam the westerly line of South East Street to the west boundary

line of said city, said proposed work to include transformers
and all labor and material required on the feed lines from service
points to feed-in standards.
SECTION 2: THAT ':PHEREAS, said contemplated work and im
faent, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, is of , , , .ore than
local or ordinary public benefit, said Board hereby makes the ex-
pense of said work cand irwproveriient chargeable upon a district within
said City of Anaheim, which district said. Board hereby declares to
be the district benefited by said work anc. improve and to be
assessed to pay the costs anr,1 expenses thereof, which said district

The boundaries of said district are as shown on dia-

be assessed for improvements on East (or West) Broadway, pursuant
to Resolution of Intention No. 205 of the Board of Trustees of
the City of Anaheim," which said. diagrams are on file in the office
of the city engineer of said city.
SECTION 3: That said work shall be done in accordance with
the plans and specifications therefor, which plans were adopted by
said Board of Trustees on the 14th. day of April, 1927, and are
marked and designated 11 Plan of Ornamental Street Lighting System
on East and :Test Broadway, City of Anaheim, Street Improvement
No. 6 4 11 anU are on file in the office of the city engineer of said

city; and which said specifications are entitled and designated
flGeneral Specifications No. 36 for Public Work, City of Anaheim"
and " Specifications No. 42, Ornamental Street Lighting Instal-
lation, City of Anaheim," both of which axe on file in the office
of the city clerk of said city.
MOTION 4: Insofar as said work of erecting, constructing
and installing said ornamental light standards, fixtured and equip -
-ment involves and uses patented material or processes, said work
shall be done in accordance with the terms and conditions set
forth in the license agreements entered into by the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim and the holders of those certain
United States Letters Patent or Patents Pending involved in said
.r which agreements are marked "License Agreements "L" and It If
and are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City of
Anaahei:� and hereby referred to for further particulars.
SLCTION 5: That serial bonds shat be issued to represent
assessments of $25.00 or over for the cost and expenses of said
work and improvement; that said serial bonds shall extend over a
period of nine years from the second day of January next succeeding
the fifteenth day of the next November following their date, and
an even annual proportion of the principal surd thereof shall be
payable, by coupon, on the second day of January:.every year after
the fifteenth day of the next November following their date until
the whole is paid, and the interest shall be paid semi - annually,
by coupon, on the second days of January and July respectively, of
each year, at the rate of seven per cent per annum on all sums un-
paid, until the whole of said principal and interest are paid..
SECTION 6: That said Board of Trustees hereby fixes Thursday
the 12th, day of May, 1927, at the hour of eight o 1 clock P. 1,
at the council chamber of said Board of Trustees in the City Hall
in said City, as the time and Mace when and where and` and all
persons having any objections to the proposed work orimprovement
may appear before said Board of Trustees and show cause why said
proposed work and improvement should not be carried out in accor-
dance with this resolution; provided, all such protests must be
in writing and must be delivered to the City Clerk before the hour
set for the hearing of objections.
SECTION 7: That the AnaheirL Bulletin is hereby designated as
the newspaper printed, published end circulated in said City in
which this resolution shall be published, and the City Clerk is
hereby directed to publish this resolution by two successive in-
sertions in said newspaper.
SECTION 8: That the Street Superintendent of said City shall
i-immediately cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of
said contemplated work or improvement and in front of all property
liable to be assessed, notice of the passage of this Resolution of
Intention, in the manner and form required by law.
SLCTION 9: That all of t�_ie herein proposed work and improve -
m�ent shall. be done and said serial bonds shall be issued under and
in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California,
designated the "Improvement Act of 1911" a.nd all acts amendatory
thereof.
