Hi, my name is Lois Jones and I live at in Anaheim Hills just behind Festival center. I frequently drive on Santa Ana Canyon,
Weir Canyon, Serrano as well as the area surrounding the Festival center. Whether driving to church to work or to any of the amenities along
Santa Ana Canyon Road the current traffic is tremendous. I just can’t imagine what over 400 units might do to my ability to get around Anaheim
Hills. On a daily basis.
My family and I have had to evacuate our home on three separate occasions. In one instance we were forced to go over Serrano Road into
Orange to escape the fire. This was due to the amount of traffic that was on Weir Canyon trying to escape the flames.
I can’t imagine what it will be like when another fire occurs in our area. A three hour evacuation time is completely unacceptable and the idea to
shelter in place when you’re fearing for your life is not humane.
Please do not permit the development of 447 units that is proposed in the festival center to take place.
