RESOLUTION ORDERING' '��
RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the City
of Ana,hjeim did on the 10th. day of February, 1927, pass its Reso-
lution of Intention No. 202, declaring its intention to order the
hereinafter described zork to be done and improvernents to 'be made
in said city, which Resolution of Intention was duly and legally
published as required by law, as a from the affidavit of
Lotus Loudon now on file in the office of the city clerk of said
city, and whereas, notices of the passage of said Resolution of
Intention No. 202, headed "Notices of Improvement" were duly and
legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and im-
provement and in front of all the property liable to be assessed
therefor, and on and along all the open streets and alleys within.
the assessment district described in said Resolution of Intention,
in the time, form, manner and number as required by law, after the
passage of said Resolution of Intention, as appears from the af-
fidavit of Fred E. Bates, who personally posted the same for the
Street Superintendent of said city, and who, upon the completion
of the postinE of said notices, filed said affidavit in the office
of the city clerk, making oath that he completed the posting of
said notices on the 24th. day of February, 1927; end whereas, Me...

RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience reouire
the work herein described and the Board of Trustees of the �ity of
Anaheim hereby orders the followinE �%�ork to be done and improvement
to be made in said city, - 'U - o- , Pit:
That the roadway of the south half of East La Palma
Avenue, (sometimes known as East North Street), extending from
the easterly property line of North East Street produced north-
wardly, to the easterly City Limits of said city, be graded to the
official ;�-rade and paved % Portland cement concrete pavement
nine (9) feet wide and having an average thickness of six (6)

inches, with a gravel shoulder four (4) wide along the south edge
of said pavement.
The City Clerk of said city is hereby directed to post
a notice of said work, together with the specifications
therefor, conspicuously for five days on or near the council
chamber door of said city, inviting sealed proposals or bids for

doing.work ordered. He is also directed.to publish twice a notice
inviting such proposals, and referring to the specifications post-
ed or on f ile, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a daily� newspaper publish-
ed and circulated in said city and hereby designated for that
'purpose,
Each proposal or bid shall be accompanied by a check
Dayable to the ' of Anaheim,, certified by a responsible bank
for an amount which shall not be less than ten per cent of the
aggregate of the proposal, or by a bond for the said amount and
so - pay a .ble, siEned by the bidder and two sureties who shall justi-
fy before any officer competent to administer an oath, in double
the said amount oveT and atrove all statutory exemptions.

Said sealed proposals or bids shalIL be delivered to the
clerk of the City of Anaheim on or before 8 o'clock P.M. of

not less than ten days fro.-. the time of the first publication
-c..nd posting of this notice. Bids will be opened on said day
and hour.
The foregoing Resolution is ap- proved, signed and at-
