RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
A001PTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING CONTRACTS.
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Anaheim published a notice
calling, for sealed proposals for the furnishing to the City of
Anaheim of Incandescent Lamps, Cedar Poles, Cross Arms, Pole
Line Hardware, Guy Wire, Insulators, Conduit and- Fittings,
Copper wire, Fire Hydrants, gate valves, Wrought Iron Pipe,
Cast Iron Pipe Fittings, Chlorinator, Sprinkling truck
and Road Oil, and
WHEREAS, at the time specified in said notice, the Board
of Trustees of said city publicly opened and examined said
proposals and the Board having taken the matter under
consideration,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That H. N. White is the lowest responsible bidder

for the furnishing of incandescent lamps to the City of Anaheim,
and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal of
H. K. White, according to the terms of said proposal and hereby
rejects all other proposals and the City Clerk is hereby
instructed to return the certified checks or bonds to the
unsuccessful bidders.
That the Neidermeyer - Martin Lumber Company is the lowest
responsible bidder for the furnishing of Cedar Poles to`the
City df Anaheim, and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said
proposal of the Neidermeyer- Martin Lumber Company, according to
the terms of said proposal and hereby rejects all other proposalw
and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to return the certified
checks or bonds to the unsuccessful bidders.
That the Pacific States Electric Company Is the lowest
res - oonsi.ble bidder for the furnishing of Cross Arms to the
City of Anaheim, and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said
proposal of the Pacific States Electric Company, according to
the terms of said proposal and hereby rejects all other propo

and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to return the certified

checks or bonds to the unsuccessful bidders.

That the Pacific States Electric Company is the lowest

responsible bidder for the furnishing of Pole Line Hardware
5
to the City of Anaheim, an: the Board of Trustees hereby accepts
6
said proposal of the Pacific States Electric Company according to
7
the terms of said proposal and hereby rejects all other proposals
8
and. the City Clerk is hereby instructed to return the certified
9
checks or bonds to the unsuccessful bidders.

That the Detrick-Joslyn Company is the lowest responsible
11
bidder for the furnishing of Guy Wire to the City of Anaheim,
12
and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal of the
13 Detrick-Joslyn Company according to the terms of said proposal
14
and hereby rejects all other proposals and the City Clerk is
15
hereby instructed to return the certified checks or bonds to the
16 unsuccessful bidders.
17 That Kierulff and Ravenscroft are the lowest responsible
18 bidders for the furnishing of insulators to the City of Anaheim
19
and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal of
20 Kierulff end Ravenscroft according to the terms of said proposal
21
and hereby rejects all other proposals and the City Clerk is
22 hereby instructed to return the certified checks or bonds to
23 the unsuccessful bidders.
24 That Kierulff and Ravenscroft are the lowest responsible
25 bidders for the furnishing of Conduit and Fittings to the City
26 of Anaheim and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal
27 of Kierulff and Ravenscroft according to the terms of said
28 proposal and hereby rejects all other proposals and the City
29 Clerk is hereby instructed to return the certified checks ox
30 bonds to the unsuccessful bidders.
31 That the Pacific States Eledtric Company is the lowest
32 responsible bidder for the furnishing of Copper Wire to the
City Of Anaheim, end the Board of Truste6s hereby accepts sad

That the Orange County Pipe & Sup -Ily Company is the lowest
responsible bidder for the furnishings of Gate Valines to the
City of Anaheim and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said �
proposal of the Orange County Pipe & Supply Company in accordance
with the terms of said pro and hereby rejects all other
proposals and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to return
all certified checks and bonds of unsuccessful bidders.
That the N. 0. Nelson Company is the loirest responsible
bidder for the furnishing of Wrought Iron Pipe to the City of
Anaheim and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal
of the N.O. Nelson Company in accordance with the terms of said
proposal and hereby rejects all other proposals and the City Clez
is hereby instructed to return all certified checks or bonds
to the unsuccessful bidders.
That the Grinnell Comm -?any is the lowest responsible bidder
for the furnishing of Cast Iron Pipe Fittings to the City of
Anaheim and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal
of the Grinnell CoLi r)cany in accordance v-ith the terms of said
proposal and hereby rejects all other proposals, and the City
Cleric is hereby instructed to return all certified checks or
bonds to the unsuccessful bidders.

That Wallace & Tiernan are the lowest responsible bidders
for the furnishing of a pedestal type chlorinator and the Board

of Trustees hereby accepts the said proposal of Wallace & Tiernan!
in accordance with the terms of laid proposal and hereby rejects
all other proposals, and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to

return all certified checks or bonds to -the unsuccessful bidders.
That Chas. H. Mann, representing Graham Brothers, is V.-Le
lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing; to the City of
Anaheim of 1 two ton , 750 gallon sprinkling truck with solid
tires, and the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal
of Chas. H. Mann in accordance with the terms of said proposal,
and 'hereby rejects all other proposals, and the City Clerk is
hereby instructed to return all certified checks or bonds to the
unsuccessful bidders.
That the Seaboard Petroleum Company' -is:: ::.the loinrest responsible)
bidder for the furnishing of road oil to the City of Anaheim, and!
the Board of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal of the Seaboard'
Petroleum Company in.acenrdance with the terms of said proposal
and hereby rejects all other proposals, and the City Clerk is
hereby instructed to return all certified checks or bonds to
the unsuccessful bidders.
The foregoing resolution was signed and approved this
27th day of January, 1927.
