--�- IN THE MATT OF PAVING NORTH AND SOUTF" )LIVE STREETS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. /Y RESOLUTION ORDERING THE INORK fi n RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim did on the / il 4 day of ©c fiber ,1926, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 1 -98 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to be made in said city which Resolution of Intention was duly and legally published as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Lotus Louden now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said city and whereas, notices of the passage of said Reso1 tdtion of Intention No. J 98 headed !Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line Of said contemplated work and improvement and in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and on and along all the open streete,and alleys within the assessment district described in said Resolution of Intention, in the time, form, manner and number as required by law, after the passage of said Resolution of Intention, as appears from the affidavit of /V C, J4v b 6 5 , for the Street Superintendent of said city, who personally posted the same, and who, upon the completion of the posting of said notices, filed said affidavit in the office of the city clerk, making oath that he completed the posting of said notices on the 2 O a* day of © c fS b er ,1926; and where as, no protests or objections were presented within the time required by law, and said Board of Trustees having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement, it is hereby RESOLVED, that the public interest and comvenience require the work herein described and the Board of Trustees of the city of Anaheim hereby orders the following work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, to -wit: That the roadway of South and North Olive Streets, fron e grtherly line of East Santa .Ana Street to the center line of ast La Palma Avenue, excepting therefrom all street intersections already paved, be graded to tbd official grade and paved with asphaltic oo ncrete pavement five (6) inches thick and varying ft thirty seven (37) feet t thirty nine an six tenths (39.6) feet in width between curbs, with 24 inch by 8� inch corrugated iron culverts across said roadway at each side,of mast Alberta Street, and 20 inch by 44 inch corrugated iron culverts across said roadway at each side ofast forth Street; that standard Portland cement concrete curbs be corstructed to the official grade where not already constructed along said roadway to be improvedt and that alley and driveway cmadsings and approaches adjoining said roadway to be Improved,, where such crossizgs or approaches have not been co t= cted or have become broken, be g to the official grade and y s9 repaved with concrete sir .; g. ' .pinches thick and consisting o mature 1 hed of 1 part Portland cement, arts sand and 3 parts grave or crux. rock. ---- The city olerk pf said city is hereby directed to post a notice of said work, together with the plans and speoifiaatbns therrefor, conspicuously for five days on or near the council chamber door of said city, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered. He is also directed r *o publish trice a notice inviting such proposals, and referring to the specifications posted or on file, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a. daily newspaper published and circulated in said city and hereby designated for that purpose. All proposals or bids shall be a000mpahiod by a cheek payable to 0 0 x a w the City of Anaheim certified by a responsible bank for an amount which shall not be 1098 than ten per aunt of the aggregate of the proposal or by a bond for the said a Ount and so payable, signed by the bidder and two suretise, who shall justify, before any officer competent to administer an oath, in double the said amount over and above all statutory exe t ons . Said sealed proposals or bids shall be delivered to the clerk of the City of Anaheim on or beforea 8 o'clock F.]g. of the t k day of ,Yo YQ m be r' ,19 r, said time being not less than ten days from the time of the first publication and posting of this notice.
