T O OBTAIN IMMEDIATE POSSESSIO
WHEREAS, in a Resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of
the City of Anaheim on the 4th day of November,, 1926, they acquisi—
tion of lands required for the widening of North and South palm
Streets
in the City of
Anaheim to a uniform width of sixty
and five
tenths (69.5)
feet from the South line of Romn

to the .Northerly line of West Vermont Avenue, an proposed in the
Resolution of Intention; in the above entitled mat adopted on
r 14th, 1926, was ordered, and Goo. F. Holden, City Attorne
of the City of Anaheim, was directed to bring an action for the co
demnation of the property necessary therefor, and to report to thi
Board of Trustees the amounts of money required for the purpose of
obtaining Immediate possession and use of the property so ordered

to be acquired, upon complying with the requirements of the law
applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS said Goo. F. Holden, City Attorney of the City of �

Anaheim, an they 24th day of February, 1927, reported to this Board)
of Trustees that an action in eminent domain had been filed in the
Superior Court, said action being entitled "City of .Anaheim, a
Municipal Corporation of the Sixth Class, vs. The Roman. Catholic
Bishop of Los Angeles and San Diego, a Corporation sole, et al, ",
being Superior Court ease Nei. 21626, and that proof was ;presented
to said Court of the amounts of money adequate to secure to the
owners of property sought to be condemned, and of any estate Cher
in,
the
immediate payment of
just compensation as
soon
as the same
can
be
ascertained according
to law, and that the
said
Court made
an Order directing the deposit, of money to secures such payment of
compensation to the Defendants in said action, and that the total

amount required for deposit in Court in order to obtain immediate
possession of said property, as set forth in said Order of Court,
is the sum of Thirty -Two Thousand One Hundred Eighteen and /'100

WHEREAS, at its meeting held on the 24th d.,ay of February,
1927 the Board of Trustees of said City fixed a day hour and
plane for a hearing upon the issuance of bonds against the lauds
In the assessment district in Acquisition District Ho. 1 of the
City of Anaheim, for the purpose of obtaining the amounts requ
by The Court to --wit amounts totaling the sum of Thirty-Two
Thousand One ftndred Eighteen and 26 /100 ($32,118.96) Dollars, in
order that immediate possession and use of they public gays sought
to be acquired under the proceedings in the above entitled matter
may be had, anal for the purpose of furnishing an opportunity to
all persons owing lands within said assessment district, or other
wise interested, to be heard, and in said Resolution directed that
the Clerk of the Board of Trustees give notice of said hearing in
the manner required by Section 28 of the *Acquisition and Improve-
ment Act of 1925"; and
WHEREAS, it appears from Affidavits on file in the office of
they Clerk of this Board of Trustees that notices of said hearing
in the manner and form required by lay`, has been regularly posted
and published in accordance with the requirements of Section, 28 of
said Act, and `this is the time and place heretofore fired for sai
hearing, and they matter has been fully heard, and a full, fair an
impartial hearing has been accorded to all objections presented,
evidence has been received upon the question of the necessity for
the issuance of said bonds, and the sufficiency of the proceeding
heretofore had and taken in the above entitled matter;
N0 1 P,, THEAEFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Hoard of Trustees of
the City of Aaaheim that it is hereby found, determined and or

23 possession and use of the lands sought to b e acquired may be had,
24 j and that the City Treasurer of the City of Anabe i is hereby
25 i ordered to issue bonds of the said District, designated "Series AN
26 in the said aggregate principal sum, dated the day this Resolution.
27 is adopted, all in the manner and forte provided in the "Acquisitio.
28 and Improvement Act of 1935 0 , and in further accordance with the
29 provisions for such bonds contained in the Resolution of Intention
30 adopted in the matter of said Acquisition and Improvement District
31 by this Board of "Trustees on the 14th day of 04;tober, 1936.
32 5. That the Clerk of this Board of Trustees shall forthwith

The foregoing Resolution Ordering Issuance of Bonds To Obtain
Immediate Possession Is approved, signed and attested this 10th
