41 RESOLUTION FIXING TIME FOR HEARING UPON PROPOSED
ISSUANCE OF BONDS TO OBTAIN IM.IZEDIATE POSSESSION

7 WHEREAS, in a Resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of
8 the City of Anaheim on the 4th day of November, 1926, in the Matte
9 of Acquisition District No. 1 of the City of Anaheim, the acquisi-
10 tion of lands for the widening of North and South Palm Streets in
11 said City to a uniform width of sixty -nine and fine tenths (69.5)
12 feet, from the south line of Romneya Drive to the northerly line
13 of West Vermont Avenue, a public street in said City, as proposed
14 in the Resolution of Intention in the above entitled matter, adop-
151 ted on the 14th day of October, 1926, was ordered, and Geo. F.
161 Holden, Attorney of the City of Anaheim, was ordered to bring an
17 action for the condemnation of the property necessary therefor,
18 and to report to this Board of Trustees the amounts of money re-
19 quired for the purpose of obtaining immediate possession and use
20 of the property so sought to be acquired; and
211 WHEREAS, the said Geo. F. Holden, Attorney,has reported to
22 this Board of Trustees that an action in eminent domain has been
23 filed in the Superior Court, said action being entitled "City of
24 Anaheim, a Municipal Corporation of the Sixth Class, vs. The Roman
25 Catholic Bishop of Los Angeles and San Diego, a Corporation sole,
26 et all', being Superior Court case No. 21626, and that proof was
27 presented to said Court of the amounts of money required to secure
28 immediate possession of the lands sought to be condemned, and that
29 the said Court made an Order directing the deposit of money to se-
30 cure payment of compensation to defendants in said action, and
31 that the total amount required for deposit in Court in order to
32 obtain immediate possession of said property, as set forth in said

WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board of Trustees to
order that bonds of said District be issued and sold for the nur-
pose of obtaining the necessary money to deposit in Court in order
to secure said immediate possession and use of said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of
the City of Anaheim, as follows, to -wit:

1. That Thursday, the 10th day of March, 1927, at the hour
of eight (8 :00) o'clock P. M., is the time, and the chambers of
the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim,• in the City Hall,
in the City of Anaheim, is the place, hereby fixed for a hearing
upon the issuance of bonds against the lands in the assessment die
trict in Acquisition District No. 1 of the City of Anaheim, for th
purpose of obtaining the amounts required by the Court, to -wit:

and use of the public gays sought to be acquired under the proceed
ings in the above entitled matter may be had, and for the purpose
of furnishing an opportunity to all persons owning lands within
the said assessment district, or otherwise interested, and feeling
aggrieved by any act or determination done or made in the said pro
ceeding,or claiming that any of the previous acts, determinations
or proceedings are irregular, defective, erroneous or faulty, or
having any objections to offer,or any reason to advance why bonds
should not be issued in the amount above set forth, for the pur-
poses above set forth, to appear before this Board of Trustees,
and be heard upon any of the above mentioned matters. Said bonds,
so proposed to be issued in the sum of

of the provisions of the 'Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925+x,
and shall bear interest at the rate of seven per cent (7�0 per
annum, payable semi - annually, and the aggregate principal of all
bonds issued shall be paid and discharged within helve (12) years',
after the date of issuance, approximately one - twelfth (1 /12th) par
of such aggregate principal to be payable annually, all in gold
coin. A special fund for the payment of said bonds will be con- j
stituted by the le `q of special assessment taxes upon the lands
within the assessment district, according to the assessed value of
said lands,(exclusive of the improvements thereon) and in accor-
dance with the zones and percentages as finally determined by this
Board of Trustees upon the 4th day of November, 1926, and as more
fully set forth in the Resolution of Intention in the above en-
titled matter adopted by said Board of Trustees on the 14th day of
October, 1926,
2. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall prepare and
sign a notice of the above mentioned hearing, and shall cause the
same to be published by at least two insertions in the newspaper
designated in said Resolution of Intention, and a coiDy of said
notice to be posted, and kept posted for at least two days on or
near the chamber door of this Board of Trustees.
The foregoing Resolution Fixing Time For Hearing Upon Propose
Issuance Of Bonds To Obtain Immediate`Possession is hereby approved,
signed and attested this 24th day .of February, 1927.
