Mayor Aitken and Members of the Anaheim City Council,
I am writing to demand jus tice for the police killing of Albert Arzola. I demand the full, unedited body camera footage from all officers , the immediate releas e of the
autops y report, the names of the officers involved, and the immediate firing of the officer who s hot Albert to death.
Albert was ambus hed by two Anaheim PD officers who leapt out of an unmarked vehicle and chased him to his hous e. One officer s hot him in the back, killing him in
front of his family. They threatened to s hoot his family and then detained them at the scene for hours . They delayed medical attention for ten minutes and dragged
Albert’s lifeles s body onto the s idewalk.
Albert was doing nothing wrong and was not a threat to anyone. He was only 19-years-old and recently graduated from Katella High School. He was a hard-working
res ident of Anaheim who took pride in his job and as pired to a career in culinary arts. He was a beloved s on, family member and friend with a bright future ahead of
him. Albert s hould be alive today!
I demand the full body camera footage of all officers from the incident. I demand the release of the autopsy report. I demand the names of the officers involved. And I
demand that the officer who s hot Albert be fired immediately.
