I acknowledge that there is a lack of housing in Southern California, and across much of our nation, and this issue needs attention. However, my
NO vote recommendation is not due to NIBY. My request is because I have witnessed the traffic gridlock in leaving my home during an
emergency. I vividly recall the last time we were evacuated by fire, and seeing fires burning on both sides of Weir Canyon road as we drove north
down the hill to the 91 freeway.
Yes, we need more housing, but first we need the road infrastructure in place to support the housing.
Please vote NO on the Festival Center Apartment Project.
