Hello,
This letter is to oppose the Festival apartment project. As a high school student in the last fire we left school and got tossed from home to home,
you need to remember these fires are much bigger then our current city. It was chaos and our family separated for days as hot spots and burn
areas in all cities before being allowed to return. The evacuation plan is terrible as it stands and even trying to get around on a daily basis is not
possible during certain hours. This area is a high cut through area for the IE as well. Keep in mind during last fire everyone was stuck on the roads
or parking lots like Festival because you could not go anywhere. There are high wind high fire areas that were never set up to be high density
housing as a master planned community. Please do not cast a vote on something you do not live with daily or have evacuated or attempted to
evacuate many times over the years. Also keep in mind your current plan does not have ample parking and will destroy that part of festival center
the business will not make it and the parking lots will be full and taken over which will further hurt businesses. It does not matter what any report
says until you live it daily you just do not know.
