I am opposed to the building of 447 new units in the Festival Shopping Center. We bought in Anahei m Hi lls years ago because
it was a quiet community with good schools and a great place to raise a family.
Now, Santa Ana Canyon Road has become so busy that t is like a Freeway. Residents can no longer get out of thei r track
because of the abundance of cars using this road to make their way to Riverside County. I was goi ng to attend an award
ceremony for my granddaughter at Yorba Linda High School which used to take 10-15 mi nutes. On the ni ght in question, i t took
me 45 minutes because of the traffic on Santa Ana Canyon Road. I missed most of the ceremony.
During the fires, we will not be able to evacuate due to the excessive traffic. And now, the City wants to permit these new units
which wil be another 1000 cars on Santa Ana Canyon Road. Do they intend to overload our schools as well?
Please do not let Developers profit over Residents. We like Anaheim Hills just the way it is.
