SECTION 1: That the public interest and c onvenience
require and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees
of the City of Anaheim to order tl_e f u2lowi.ng described street
wore to be done in said city, to-wit:
That the roadway of Bouth and ;.forth Clive Streets.
fr the northerly line of East Santa Ana Street to the southerly
line of East La Palma Avenue (excepting therefrom the eastenly
half. of that portion of said - roadway extending from the southerly
line of Past Broadway to a line iarallel therewith and distant
321.55 feet southerly pherefron" also those portions of said
roadway included in the intersections of all main and subdivision
street crossings, and the westerly half of said roadway at the
Alberta Street and I ills Drive terminations,J be graded to the
official grade and paved with a•o1haltic concrete pavement five
(5) inches thick and varyinE from thirty seven (37) feet to
thirty -nine and six. tenths (39.6) feet in width between curbs, with
24 inch by 9 inch corrugated iron culverts ai Alberta. Street.
� TTRRAS, said contemplated work and improvement, -in the
opinion of the Board of T rustees, is of more than local or ordinary
public benefit, said Board hereby makes the e ;Tense of said wotk
and improvement charceable upon a district within said City of
Anaheim, which district said Board hereby declares to be the district
benefited by said work and im.;rovemxent and to be assessed to jagy
the costs and expenses thereof, which said district includes all or
a part of each of the following lots or parcels of land, to -wit:

The boundaries of which said district are as shown on
reaps marked and designated "Diagram showing roperty to be
assessed fcr improvements on North (or South Olive Street, iursuant
to Resolution of I No. 188. of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim, California," on file in the office of the City
crzgi ne er of said City.
Saic work shall be done in accordance with the plans
ar- sl)ecifications therefor, which s add plans vaere approved
and adopted by the Board of Trustees of said City on the
24th-day of September, 1925, and are marked and designated
"1'avi)ng 21an, South .Ulive Street, Sheet No. 1 and
"Paving Plan, North Olive Street, Sheets Nos. 2,3 and 4, Street
Ir+prov ement No. 46, acid are on file in the offic e of the City
Engineer of said. City, and � s )ecifications were approved
and adopted by said Board of Trustees on the 25th. day of June,
1925, and are entitled and d esiGnated "Specifications No. 34,
Bevies of 1924, For the Construction of Asphaltic Concre$e
Pavement, City of Anaheim, California," and are on file in the
office of the City Clerk ofsaid City.
SECTION 2: Notice is hereby liven that on Thursday,
the 12th, day of November, 1925 at the hour of eight o'clock
T'.U., at the Council Chamber of the �3oard of Trustees of the City
of Anaheim., in the City Hall at No. 204 East Center Street in said
City, any and all persons having objections to the proposed work
or improvements may arpear before the Board of Trustees of the
City of Ana -he im and sbow cause why said proposed work and improvement
should not be carried out in accordance with this resolution;
provided, all such protests must be in writing and must be de-
livered to the City Clerk before the hour set for the hearing
of objections.
SECTION 3: That said Board of Trustees hereby further
determines that serial bonds shall be issued to rei�resent
assessments of `;V25.00 or over f or the cost and ex- , -enses of said
Work and ir:� rov'ereent; that said serial bonds sbal -E_ extend over a
period of nine years frota 'the second da, of January next succeeding
their date, and an even annual proportion of t] : e principal
sum thereof shall be yrayable, by coupon, on the 2nd day of January
every year after their dt to until the w'dole is Maid, and the
interest shall be paid semi- annually, by coupon, on the 2nd days
of January and July res1 of each year, at the rate of
seven percent per annum on all sums unpaid, until the whole of said.

S1JCTIaT1 4: The Anaheim Bulletin is hereby designated as the
newspaper printed, rublished and circulated in said City in which
this resolution shE be i_ublished, and the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim is hereby directed to publish this resolution by
two successive insertion, in said newspaper.
The Street Super int,ggn�dent shall immediately cause to be
conspicuously posted along�ine of said contemplated work or
improvement and in front of all iroperly liable to be
assessed, notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention,
in the manner and form required by T,aw.
All of the herein ,)rot osed work and i.mprovenent shall be
done and said serial bonds shall be issued under and in pursuance
of art Act of the legislature of the State of California, designated
the "Improvement Act of 1911, and all acts amendatory thereof .
