Do not click links or open attachme nts unle ss you recognize the sender and are expecting the message. Dear Anaheim City Council, Natalie Meeks and Amanda Lauffer, For the last 47 years I have resided in the East end of Anaheim. There have been many changes over those years, many of which have benefited this area. In all that time, with all the changes, I have not felt strongly that the change would be harmful to myself, and those within this community, but the proposed Shea/Festival Apartment Development is one whi ch I am vehemently opposed. I am opposed to the construction of any apartment complex, office building or retai l/commerci al buildings, i n thi s already traffic congested community. Such a development would multiply the already burdensome traffi c on both street and freeway, increase fire hazards, impact timely fire evacuation efforts and put human lives in danger. Traffic in this area has become even more problematic because Weir Canyon and Serrano are used as the connector from Orange County to South-Corona to bypass the gridlock to get to the Riverside Fwy in li eu of usi ng the 241 Toll Road. The traffic has increased exponentially in the past several years since the plans for the proposed Mi d-C ounty Parkway direct South Corona-OC Connector linking Weir Canyon Road to South County was stalled years ago. Perhaps thi s proposed plan should be revisited rather than furthering any development in this heavy traffic communi ty. This is a safety concern for this community. The increase in potential fire hazards and compromi se of life savi ng fire evacuation efforts. Please share my concerns and I encourage the Anaheim City Council to vote "NO" on the proposed apartments at the Anaheim Hills Festival Center and any future proposed apartments, addition buildout development and constructi on at the Anaheim Hills Festival Center and the surrounding area. Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter. Sincerely, Constance Kouri 1012 S.
