RESOLUTION OF INTi, MON NO. 187*
A RESOLUTION OF TIM BUM OF TRUSTEES OF UM CITY OF M S IM
DECIARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDLE TEE PAVING OF TEE ROADWAY OF A
CERTAIN PORTION OF SOUTf-T OHIO STREET IN SAID CITY.
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTFG;S OF M CITY OF ANMEI1�:
SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience
require and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees
of the City of Anaheim to order the following described street
work to be done in said city, to -wit:
That the roadway of South Ohio S Greet, from the southerly
line of "lest Broadway to the northerly line of West Santa Ana Street, be
graded to the official grade and paved with asphaltic concrete pave-
ment five (5) inches thick and nominally thirty -five (35) feet in
width between curbs.
AND !MREAS, said contemplated work and improvement, in
the opinionnof the B of Trustees, is of more than local
or ordinary public benefit, said Board hereby makes the expense
of said work and improvement chargeable upon a district within
said City of Anaheira, which district said Board hereby declares to
be the district benefited by said ziork and improvement and to
be assessed to pay the costs and e_.penses thereof, which said
district is 810M on a m l) marked and designated "Diagram
showins district to be assessed for improvements on South Ohio
Street, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 187 of the Board
of T of the City of Anaheim,California," and is now on file
in the office of the City Engineer of said City, and which said
district includes or affects Lots 1 to 15 inclusive, Block A. and
.Uts 1, 2 and 17 to 28 inclusive, , Block B, Dolan T racts as of orange ma
reorded in Book 13, Page 23, Hiscellaneoux ?taps,
County, California.
Said work shall be done in accordance with the plan and
specifications therefor 11 which plan was approved and adopted
by the B of Trustees on the 24th.d y of September, 1925 and
is marked and designated "paving plan, South Ohio Street, Street
Improvement No. 44," and is on f ile in the offi ce of the C ato ted
Engineer, and which said specifications were app p
by said Board of Trustees on the 25th,day of June, 1925 and
are entitled and designated "Specifications No. 34, series of
1924, for the oandf Asphaltic office of the
of Anaheim, California,"

SECTION 2: Notice is hereby given that on Thursday
the 12th, day of November: 1925, t the
Trustees eight olMc P.M.j
at the Council Chamber of the Board
Anaheim, in the City Hall ; at No. 204 East Center Street in said City,
any and all persons having objections to the proposed work or improvement
may appear before the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, and
show cause why said proposed work and improvement should not be carried
out i accordance with this resolution; provided all such protests
must be in writing and must be delivered to the City Clerk before the
hour set for hearing objections.
SECTION 3: That the Said Board of Trustees hereby further
determines that serial bonds shall be issued to represent assessments
of 025.00 pr over for the - cost and expense of said work and improve-
ment; that said serial bonds steal l e xtend over a period of nine years
from the second day of January next succeeding their date, and an even
annual proportion of the principal sum thereof shall be payable, by
coupon on the 2nd day of January every year after their date until
the whole is paid, and the interest shall be paid semi.- annually, by
coupon on the 2nd days of January and July respedtively, of each
year, at the rate of seven percent per annum on all sums unpaid
the whole of said principal and interest are paid.
SECTION 4: The Anaheim Bulletin is hereby designated as
the newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City
in which this resolution shall be published, and the City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed to publish this
resolution by two successive insertions in said newspaper *.
The Street Superintendent shall immediately cause to be
conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work
or improvement and in f ront of all the property liable to be
assessed, notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention
in the manner and form required by law.
All of the herein proposed wore and improvement shall be
done and sa serial bonds shall be issued under and in pursuance
of an Act o s egislature of the State of California, designated
the "Improvement Act of 1911` I and all diets amendatory thereof.
