Dear Members of the Anaheim City Council,
I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed Festival Apartments project due to serious concerns about fire evacuation safety.
Given the increasing wildfire risks in our region and the importance of ensuring safe, efficient evacuation routes for residents, I am concerned that
this development could further strain existing infrastructure. Adding significant residential density without clear, well-documented evacuation
planning may place future residents and surrounding neighborhoods at unnecessary risk in the event of a fire emergency.
Before moving forward, I strongly urge the Council to require a comprehensive, transparent fire safety and evacuation impact analysis. This review
should clearly demonstrate that emergency access, traffic flow, and evacuation timing standards can be met under worst-case conditions.
Public safety must remain the top priority in all development decisions. I respectfully ask that you reconsider approval of the Festival Apartments
unless and until these fire evacuation concerns are fully addressed.
