RESOLUTION DECLARING JURISDICTION ACQUIRED.
(Under Resolution of Intention No. 185.)
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim, did on the 13th day of October, 1925 pass its Resolution
of Intention No. 185 to order certain work to be done and improve-
ment to be made in said City consisting of the paving of the
roadway of a certain portion of East La palms Street, which Resolu-
tion of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for further
particulars, and
WHEREAS, no protests or objections whatsoever to said
proposed work or improvement having been filed, and
THEREAS, the time within which to present or file
such protests or objections has expired, and
WHEREAS all proceedings and things required by
law in connection with said matter having been regularly and
legally performed,
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that said
Board of Trustees has acquired jurisdiction to order said work or
improvement.
The foregoing Resolution is signed, approved and
attested by me, this let day of December, 1925.

I RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 185.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OF A CERTAIN PORTION
OF THE ROAD17AY OF EAST LA PALMA AVENUE IN SAID CITY.
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
require and that it is the intention of the joard of Trustees
of the City of Anaheim to order the following described street
work to be done in said city, to -wit:
That the roadway of the South half of East La Palma Ave-
nue, (sometimes known as East North Street), extending from the

easterly property line of North East Street, produced northwardly,
to the easterly city limits of said city, be graded to the
official grade and a Portland cement concrete pavement nine (9)
feet in width be constructed thereon, with a gravel shoulder four
(4) feet in *idth 41ong the South ee� e of said pavement.
AND 'WHEREAS, said contemplated work and improvement,

in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, is of more than local
,or ordinary public benefit, said Board hereby makes the expense
of said work and improvement chargeable upon a district within
said City of Anaheim, which district said Board hereby declares to

adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, by
resolution on the 27th day of August 1925, and are marked and
;designated "East North Street or East La Palma Avenue, paving plan
(and profile, Street Improvement No. 40," and are on file in
the office of the City Engineer of said City, and which said
specifications were adopted by said Board of Trustees, by resolu-
tion, on the 27th day of August, 1925, and are entitled and
(designated "Specifications No. 37, Series of 1925, For the

Construction of Portland Cement Concrete Strip pavement, City of
Anaheim, California." and are on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said City.
SECTION 2. Notice is hereby given that on Thursday,
11the 12th day of November, 1925, at the hour of eight o *elock P. M.

a!at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim, in the City Hall, at No. 204 East Center Street in
1 said City, any and all persons having ob�ctions to the proposed

must be delivered to the City Clerk before the hour set for

SECTION 3. That said Board of Trustees hereby further
determines that serial bonds shall be issued to represent assess-
ments of $25.00 or over for the cost and expenses of said work
and improvement; that said serial bonds shall extend over a
period of nine years from the second day of January next succeeding
their date, and an even annual proportion of the principal sum
(thereof shall be payable, by coupon, on the 2nd day of January

levery year after their date until the whole is paid, and the

interest shall be paid semi - annually, by coupon, on the 2nd days
of January and July respectively, of each year, at the rate
of seven per cent per annum on all sums unpaid until the whole
of said principal and interest are paid.
SECTION 4. The Anaheim Bulletin is hereby designated as
the newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City
in which this resolution shall be published.
The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed
to publish this resolution by two successive insertions in said

The Street Superintendent shall immediately cause to be

cohopiouously posted along the line of said contemplated work or
improvement and in front of all the property liable to be assessed,
notice of the passage of this RRsolution of Intention in the manner
and form required of Law.
All of the herein proposed work and improvement shall be
done and said serial bonds shall be issued under and in pursuance
21bof an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, designated
22 the "Improvement Act of 1911" and all acts amendatory thereof.
