RESOLUTION OF A`"ARD.
THEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim
did, in Open session on the 12th day of November, 1925, publicly
open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for
doing the following work to be done and improvements to be made
in bsi:d City, to -wit:
All that certain work and improvement set forth in

1511 NOW TFEREFORE, BE IT prSOLVED by said Board of Trustees
16 that it reject, and it does hereby reject, all of said proposals
17 or bids except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the
18 contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest
; 19 responsible bidder, to -wit; Fritz Ziebarth at the prices named
20 in his bid, as follows; Entire contract, as shown on plaris for
21 Street improvement No. 38 for the sum of Thirty seven thousand
22 might hundred sixty four and no /100 ($37,864.00) Dollars,

RESOLUTION DIRECTING WORK TO BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF
THE CITY ENGINEER.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim did, on the 10th day of September, 1925 pass its
Resolution of Intention No. 184 to order certain work to be
done and improvement to be made in said City, which Resolution
of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for further par-
ticulars, and said Board of Trustees did thereafter on the 13th
day of October, 1925, duly pass its Resolution ordering the
Work, ordering said work to be done and said improvement to be
made in said City, which Resolution Ordering the Work is also
;hereby referred to for further particulars and
I WHEREAS, said Board of Trustees desires that said

lwork to be done under the direction of the City Engineer of said

RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City of

RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK.
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM:
Section 1. That the publio interest and convenience
require and the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, pursuant
to Resolution of Intention No. 184 of the Board of Trustees
of the City of Anaheim, which said Resolution of Intention No.
184 was duly passed and adopted by said Board of Trustees on the
10th day of September, 1985, hereby orders the following described
street work to be done in said City, to -wit:
And said Board of Trustees in said Resolution of

Is hereby directed to post conspicuously for five days, on or near
the chamber door of the Board. of Trustees of said City of Anaheim,
i notice of said work inviting sealed proposals or bids and copies
)f all specifications hereinbefore mentioned; he is also directed
;o cause a copy of said notice to be published twice in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published, and circulated in said City, which said newspaper is

hereby designated for that purpose.
Said notice shall invite sealed proposals or bids for
doing the work ordered and shall refer to the specifications
posted and on file., which said notice shall require all proposals
or bids offered to be accompanied by a check payable to the City
of Anaheim,, certified by a responsible bank for an amount which
shall not be less than tbn per cent of the aggregate of the pro-
posal or by a bond for the said amount, so payable., signed by the
biddeg and two sureties who shall justify before any officer
competent to administer an oath, in the said amount and over
and above all statutory exemptions.
Thursday, the 12th day of November, 1925, is hereby
Idesignated and fixed as the day on which, up to the hour of eight
1 , otclock P. M• the said proposals or bids shall be received, and the

ACQUIRED JURISDICTION TO ORDER THE DOING OF THE WORK.
WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of the City of Ana-
heim, did, on the 10th day of September, 1925, pass and adopt its
Resolution of Intention No. 184, to order the following street
work to be done in said City, to-wit:
And in said Resolution of Intention made the
expenses of said work and improvement chargeable upon a district,
which said Resolution of Intention is hereby referred to for a
description of the work and improvement and the assessment district,
and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention did contain a

WHEREAS, Thursday, the 8th day of October, 1925,
at the hour of four o'clock P. M. was therein designated as the
day and time when, and the chamber of the Board Of Trustees of
the City of Anaheim, in the City H&11 Building, at No. 204
East Center Street, in said City, was therein designated as the p
where any and. all such persons might appear before said Board of

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUS-
TEES CF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
Section 1. That all acts and things required by
law to be done to vest said Board Of Trustees with jurisdiction
to order the doing of said work have been done and complied with.
Section 2. That said Board Of Trustees does hereby
find and determine that it has acquired jurisdiction to order
the doing of said work in accordance with said Resolution of
Intention No. 184.
The foregoing Resolution is signed, approved and
