My hus ba nd a nd I ha ve been homeowners a nd res idents in Anaheim Hills s ince June 1982 a nd ha ve s een vari ous
uns ucces s ful propos ed development projects during thes e years . We have been oppos ed to thes e pas t projects for
wha t we cons idered va lid reas ons .
Now, once ag ain we a re oppos ed to the new development of 447 units in the Fes tival C enter due to the fa ct that
this area is in a very hig h fire ha za rd s everity zone. In the pas t when res idents were requi red to evac ua te due to
fires it has taken way too long for eva cuations to be completed.
Additional res idents living in this propos ed development would only crea te much much more ti me for evac ua tions to
be completed with the occurrence of a fire emergency.
