RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM:
SEC. 1. That weeds growing upon the hereinafter des-
cribed private property have attained such a large growth that
they have become a fire menace, most of said weeds now being dry.
SEC. 2. That said weeds are, and they are hereby de-
clared to be, a public nuisance.
SEC. 3. The street superintendent is hereby instructed
to post notices on the hereinafter described property at least
five days before the date of the hearing hereby set for July2,
1925, at the hour of one o'clock p. m., at the Council Chamber,
City Hall, Anaheim, California, and which notice shall be sub-
stantially in the following form:
NOTICE TO DESTROY WEEDS
Notice is hereby gi - len, that on the 11th day of June,
1925 Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, passed a
resolution declaring that noxious or dangerous weeds were
growing upon, and in the parking space in front of, certain
property in the City of Anaheim, and more particularly described
in said resolution, and that the same constitute a public nui-
sance which must be abated by the removal of said noxious or
dangerous weeds, otherwise they will be removed and the nuisance
will be abated by the municipal authorities, in which case the
cost of such removal shall be assessed upon the lots and lands
from which or in front of which such weeds are removed, and such
cost will constitute a lien upon such lots or lands until paid.
Reference is hereby made to said resolution for further particulars.
All property owners having any objections to the proposed
removal of such weeds are hereby notified to attend a meeting
of said Doard of Trustees of said City of Anaheim to be held
on the 2nd day of July, 1925, at the hour of one o'clock p. M..,
when their objections will be heard and given due consideration.
