RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
THAT TH7REAS, the City of Anaheim is in great need of
an additional water supply for the domestic requirements of its
citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Aldrich Lend Company, a corporation, has
offered to sell and convey to said City, a certain pumping plant
and equipment located in the northerly part of said City, includ-
ing the necessary land, and to convey to said City certain landstD
be used for street and alley purposes, for the total sum of Thirty
five Thousand ($ Dollars, to be paid within sixty (60)
days from and after the date hereof, all of which real and persona
property is hereinafter described;
NOW THIREFORE BE IT RESOLVED FY TH! BOARD OF TRUSTElS
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
That the acquisition of said pumping plant, equipment,
and lands would be and is for the best interests of said City;
BE IT FURTH7F RiSOLVED, that said City of Anaheim pur-
chase said real pnd personal property upon the terms herein
Vested, and that the President of said Board Of Trustees be, and
he is hereby, authorized to execute, on behalf of said City, the
necessary Escrow Agreement, or agreements, duly attested by the
City Clerk of said City, who is hereby authorized to attest the
same for the purchase of said real and personal property for the
price and upon the terms herein stated, and upon the condition,
however, th t said AldrAh Land Company furnish & City Guarantee
of Title, issued by some responsible Title Comp;ny of orange
County, California, showtng the title to all of said real property
in the name of said City, free and clear of all liens and incumber-
ences, except taxes for the fiscal year of 1925-1926.
Said purchase shall also be made upon the condition that
said we . lls deliver sufficient water to be determined by a test to bi
mode by said City before said escrow is closed.
The real and personal property, all of which is situated
and located within the City of Anaheim, County of orange, State
