RESOLUTI
(Adopting specifications and calling for bids)
4 RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
5 SECTION 1. That those certain specifications marked
6 "Specifications for oil to used in the construction of natural
7 oiled st reets in the City of Anaheim, Orange County, State of Cal-
8 ilifornia, Series 1924," which were filed in the office of the City

Clerk of the City of Anaheim on the ay of October, 1924,,
10 ii be and the same are hereby adopted as specifications for oil to be
11 Ili used in the construction of nat7aralSoiled streets in the City of
12 Ij Anaheim.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said city be, and he

14 '!is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice once a week
15 for a period of two weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a
16 ;I newspaper of general circulation, published in said city, calling
17 ,,�for sealed proposals or bids for the furnishing of two thousand
18 ifive hundred (2500) barrels in car load lots of crude oil for stre(
19 1work, Delivery of oil to be made whenever ordered by the City of
20 IlAnaheim, in accordance with said specifications to said city. Said
21 ,bids shall be received at the office of the City Clerk of said City
ZZ �jup to eight o'clock P. M. of Thursday the 13th day of November,1924
23 j Shall notice shall require the bidder to state location
24 of wells from which the oil will be shipped, and also the names of
25 Dwell owners.
26 SECTION 3, Each bid must be accompanied by a certified
27 ;check in an amount equal to not less than tan per cent of the amour
26 of such bid, or by a bond in like amount, executed by two sureties,
29 jwho shall justify in double the amount of said bond in the manner
30 'required by law, or by a corporate surety duly qualified to execute
31 ;!such bond.
32 ACTION 4, The successful bidder must,14fthin ten days

after the acceptance of his bid, execute an agreement with the
City of Anaheim for the delivery of said tail, F.O.B. traok Anahei ,
California, on city oil tank siding, or if delivered by truck to
be placed in storage tanks at the city power house. Said oil to
be delivered When ordered by the City of Anaheim, and a bond in
the penal sum equal to fifty per cent of the contract price, con -
ditioned upon the faithful performance of such agreement. Such
bond shall be executed by at least two good and sufficient sure -
ties who shall justify in double the amount of bond in unencumber-
ed property within the State of California, or by a corporate sure
I
ty, as provided by law. Such bond shall be subject to the appro-
val of the Board of Trustees of the City of .Anaheim.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim reserves
the right to reject any and all bids.
