RE30LVED BY TAE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
SECTION 1. That those certain s pecifications marked

filed in the 'office of the City Clerk of the City of 'Anaheim on
the a —_ day of O 1924, be an the same are hereby adop•:
ted as specifications for a motor street sweeper for the City of
Anaheim.
SECTION 2, That the City Clerk of said City be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice once a week
for a period of two weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a
newspaper of general circulation, published in said City, calling
for sealed proposals or bids for the, furnishing of a motor street'
sweeper in accordance with said specifications, to said City.
Said bids shall be received at the office of the City Clerk of
said City up to eight o'clock P.M. of Thursday, the 13th day of
November, 1924.
Said Notice shall require the bidders to state the name
of manufacturer and time of delivery.
SECTION 3. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified

check in an amount equal to not less than ten per cent of the am unt
of such bid, or by a bond in like amount, executed by two sureti a
who shall justify in double the amount of said bond in the manneA
required by law, or by a corporate surety duly qualified to exe-
cute such bond.
SECTION 4. The successful bidder must, within t days
after the accept aace of his bid, execute an agreement with the
City of Anaheim for the delivery of said motor street sweeper
within ten days after the execution of said agreement, and bond
