RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 468
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING AND ESTABLISHING RATES
OF COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS JOB CLASSES, AND
SUPERSEDING PORTIONS OF RESOLUTION NO. 71R-471,
AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the basic compensation plan for all officers and
employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the
future be employed in any of the classifications of employment listed
below shall be allocated to salary schedules as follows:

SECTION 2.
The letter "X" preceding a schedule number indicates that
employees working in that job class are exempt from overtime provisions,
as provided in Personnel Rule 6.04, Premium Pay. The letter "u" preced-
ing a schedule number indicates that employees upgraded to that job
class shall be paid premium pay as provided in Personnel Rule 6.41,
Premium Pay. The letter liS" preceding a schedule number indicates that
employees in the job class shall be eligible for consideration for merit
pay increases as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17, Appropriate Salary
Step. The letter "J" preceding a schedule number indicates that
employees working in that job class may be paid at a rate 5% below the
"A" step of the salary schedule for that job class, as provided in
Personnel Rule 4.42, Appropriate Salary Step.
SECTION 3.
The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for
employees working in job classes listed in Section 1 of this Resolution
shall be computed as provided in Personnel Rule 5, Hours of Work and
Pay Day and Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay.
SECTION 4.
The provisions of this Resolution shall supersede portions
of Resolution No. 71R-471 and amendments thereto.
SECTION 5.

The effective date of this Resolution shall be October 6,
1972.
