A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANMiEIM GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 2428.
WHEREAS, after a request for variance by THOM I. and
EDITH MIYADI and JOAN and HAZEL CAMPBELL, owners, and THE RICHARDS
GROUP-MULTIHOUSING WEST, INC., agent, was received, a public hear-
ing before the Planning Co~uission of the City of Anaheim was held
upon due and proper notice as a result of which Variance No. 2428
was granted covering the following described property:
All that certain land situated in the State of California,
County of Orange, City of Anaheim, described as follows:
That portion of ~Southeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 15, Township 4 South, Range II West
in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page II of Miscellaneous Haps, records of
Orange County, California, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of said Section 15,
North 00 IS' 45" West 386.76 feet from the Southeast cor-
ner of said Section; thence South 890 36' West 665.30 feet
to a point; thence North 00 13' West 330 feet to a point;
thence North 890 36' East 665.05 feet to a point in the
Easterly line of said Section; thence South 00 IS' 45" East
330 feet to the place of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of the above described
property described as beginning at a point in the East
line of said Section 15, North 00 15' 45" West 386.76 feet
from the Southeast corner of said Section; thence South 890
36; West 665.30 feet; thence North 00 13' West 132 feet;
thence North 890 36' East 665.20 feet to a point in the
Easterly line of said Section; thence South 00 15' 45" East
132 feet to the beginning.
~iHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by
law an interested party or the City Council on its own motion
caused the review of said Planning Comimission action at a public
hearing noticed and held as prescribed by law and as a result
thereof the City Council does hereby make the following findings:
1. That there are special circumstances applicable to
the property, including size, shape, topography,
location or surroundings, which do not apply to
other property under identical zoning classifica-
tion in the vicinity.
2.
That, because of special circumstances shown in (1)
above, strict application of the zoning code
deprives the property of privileges enjoyed by
other property under identical zoning classifica-
tion in the vicinity.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the
same is hereby granted, permitting the development of a two-story,
l34-unit multiple-family complex on the property hereinbefore

described with waivers of the following sections of the Anaheim
Municipal Code:

That said variance be granted subject to the following conditions:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
reserves the right to revoke such variance permit for good
cause or failure of said owners, their heirs, successors or assigns
to comply with the Anaheim Municipal Code and regulations and
the conditions herein. Said variance is granted for the term
prescribed by the Anaheim ~lunicipal Code unless otherwise speci-
fied herein.
