NORTH EMILY STREET, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIAM.
RESOLUTION DETERMiINING THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES HAS
ACQUIRED JURISDICTION TO ORDER THE DOING OF THE WMRX.
ITHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim
did, on the 15th day of :,larch, 1023, pass and adopt its Resolution
Of Intention No. 173, to order the following street work to be
done in said city, to -twit:
That the roadway of South West
Street from the southerly property line
of West Center Street. produced ,v ester.
ly across the roadway of said South
West Street to the northerly property
line of West Broadway Street produced
westerly across the roadway of sail
South West Street (excepting therefro.n
that portion of the roadway of South
West Street lying betweer the north-
erly property line of West Chestnut.
Street produced easterly to the center
line of the roadway of said South west
Street and the southerly property line
of West Chestnut Street produced east -
crly to the center line of the roadway
of said South West Street) and
That the roadway of North Emily
Street frcm the southerly property ling:
of East. Chartres Street produced
easterly across the roadway of said
North Emily Street to the northerly
property line of East Center Street pro-
duced easterly across the roadway of
said North Emily Street; be graded to
the official grade and paved with hy-
draulic concrete base and with as-
phaltic concrete wearing surface.
Said work shall be done in accord
a rice, with the plans, profiles, and speci-
fications 'therefor, which said plans and
profiles were adopted by the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim, by
resolntion, or. the 15th day of March,
1823, and are numbered 22 and 23, re-!
spectively and are marked and desig-

proposed improvement on North Emily l
Street," respectively and are on file l
in the office of the City Engineer of
said city, and which maid specifications
were adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the: City of Anaheim on the 8th day
of March, 1823, and are marked and
designated "Spec ificatious No. 28, for
the construction of street paving with
hydraulic concrete base and asphaltic
concrete wearing surface."
AND FEREAS, said Resoltuion of Intention did contain a
notice of the day, hour and place rhere any and all persons having
any objections to the said proposed work or improvement may appear
before said Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim and show cause
why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accord -
ance with said Resolution of Intention No. 173, and
1 ,WHEREAS, Thursday, the 12th day of April, 1923, at the
hour of eight o'clock. P. M. was therein designated as the day and
time when and the chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim, at Room 1, lriasonic Teeple Building, at No. 255 East Center

Street, in said city, r.,ras therein designated as the place where
any and all of such persons might apoear before said Board. of
Trustees and show cause as aforesaid, and
WHEREAS, thereafter, pursuant to 'Law and to said Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 173, said Resolution of Intention No. 173 was
published twice in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a daily news-
paper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated
in said city, as will more fully appear from the affidavit of
on file in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, after the adoption of said Resolution of Inten-
tion, the Street Superintendent did cause to be conspicuously post-
ed along the line of said contemplated work or improve at the
time and. in the form and :r.ianner prescribed by law, notices of the
passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 173, as will -lore
fully appear from the affidavit of 0. E. Steward on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, and
1 7HEREAS, thereafter no owners of property liable to be
assessed for said work did Make inrritten protest against the pro-
posed work, within the time prescribed by 'Law, or otherwise,
NOW T�IZREFORE BE IT RESOLV7D BY TYE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF AYAHEIM:
SECTION 1. That all acts and things required by law to
be done to vest said Board of Trustees with jurisdiction to order
the doing of said work have been done and complied with.
SECTI^N 2. That said Board of Trustees does hereby find
and determine that it has acquired jurisdiction to order the doing
of said work in accordance with said. Resolution of Intention No.
173.
The foregoing Resolution is signed, approved and
