IN THE MATTER OF PAVING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF WALNUT STREET, NORTH
CITRON STREET, NORTH AND SOUTH HELENA STREET, NORTH ZEYN STREET,
AND EAST AND WEST SYCAMORE STREET.
RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Resolved by the Board of Trusteesof the City of Anaheim:
That those certain specifications marked and designated
"Specifications No. 29. For the construction of street paving
with asphaltic concrete base and asphaltic concrete wearing
surface," prepared by 0. E. Steward, City Engineer of the City of
Anaheim and which were filed in the office of the City Clerk of
the said city on the 8th day of March, 1923, be and they are here-
by adopted as the specifications for the work of paving the road-
way of Walnut Street from the southerly property line of West
Center Street produced westerly across roadway of said Walnut
Street to the northerly property line of West Broadway Street
produced westerly across the roadway of said Walnut Street (ex-
cepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of Walnut Street
lying between a line extended from the point of intersection of
the easterly property line of Walnut Street and the northerly
property line of West Chestnut Street to the center line of the
roadway of said Walnut Street and at right angles thereto and a
line extended from the point of intersection of the easterly
property line of Walnut Street and the southerly property line of
West Chestnut Street to the center line of Walnut Street and at
right angles thereto); for the work of paving the east half of
the roadway of North Citron Street from the northerly property
line of West Center Street produced westerly to the center line of
the raodway of said North Citron Street to the southerly property
line of West Cypress Street produced westerly to the center line
of the raodway of said North Citron Street (excepting therefrom
that portion of the east half of the roadway of North Citron Stree
lying between the northerly property line of West Chartres Street

1 produced westerly to the center line of the roadway of said North
2 Citron Street and the southerly property line of West Chartres
3 Street produced westerly to the center line of the roadway of
4 said North Citron Street); for the work of paving the roadway of
5 North Helena Street from the southerly property line of West
6 Cypress Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North
7 Helena Street to a line parallel to and distant northerly at
8 right angles 44.75 feet from the center line of West Center Street
9 (excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of North Helena
10 Street lying between the northerly property line of West Chartres
11 Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Helena
12 Street and the southerly property line of said Chartres Street
13 produced westerly across the roadway of said North Helena Street);
14 for the work of paving of the roadway of South Helena Street from
15 a line parallel to and distant southerly at right angles 44.75 feet
16 from the center line of West Center Street to the northerly
17 property line of West Broadway Street produced westerly across the
18 raodway of said South Helena Street (excepting therefrom that por-
19 tion of the roadway of South Helena Street lying between the
20 northerly property line of Oak Street produced westerly across
21 the roadway of said South Helena Street and the southerly property
22 line of Oak Street produced westerly across the roadway of said S
23 South Helena Street, and that portion of the roadway of South
24 Helena Street lying between the northerly property line of West
25 Chestnut Street produced westerly across the roadway of said South
26 Helena Street and the southerly property line of West Chestnut
27 Street produced westerly across the roadway of said South Helena
28 Street, and that portion of the roadway of said South Helena
29 Street lying between the northerly property line of Third South
30 Street produced westerly to the center line of the roadway of said
31 South Helena Street and the south property line of Third. South
32 Street produced westerly to the center line of the roadway of said

Zeyn Street from the northerly property line of West Sycamore
Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Zeyn

(excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of said North
Zeyn Street lying between the northerly property line of West
Wilhelmina Street produced westerly across the roadway of said

Zeyn Street, and that portion of the roadway of North Zeyn Street
lying between the northerly property line of West Alberta Street
produced westerly across the roadway of said North Zeyn Street and
the southerly property line of West Alberta Street produced
westerly across the roadway of said North Zeyn Street); for the
work of paving the roadway of East Sycamore Street from the west-
erly property line of North Olive Street produced northerly to
the center line of the roadway,of said East Sycamore Street and
from the northerly property line of North Olive Street produced
southerly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore
Street to the easterly property line of North Los Angeles Street
produced northerly across the roadway of said East Sycamore Street
(excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of East Sycamore
Street lying between the easterly property line of North Phila-
delphia Street produced northerly to the center line of the road-
way of said East Sycamore Street and the westerly property line
of North Philadelphia Street produced northerly to the center line
of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street, and that portion of
the roadway of East Sycamore Street lying between the easterly
property line of North Philadelphia Street produced southerly to
the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street and
the westerly property line of North Philadelphia Street produced

Street, and that portion of the roadway of East Sycamore Street
lying between the easterly property line of North Emily Street
produced northerly to the center line of the roadway of said East
Sycamore Street and the westerly property line of North Emily
Street produced northerly to the center line of the roadway of
East Sycamore Street, and that portion of the roadway of East
Sycamore Street lying between the easterly property line of North
Claudina Street produced southerly to the center line of the road -
way of East Sycamore Street and the westerly property.line of
North Claudina Street produced southerly to the center line of
the roadway of said East Sycamore Street, and that portion of the
roadway of East Sycamore Street lying between the easterly
property line of North Claudina Street produced northerly to the
center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street and the
westerly property line of North Claudina Street produced norther-
ly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street);
and for the work of paving the roadway of Nest Sycamore Street
from the westerly property line of North Los Angeles Street pro-
duced northerly across the roadway of said West Sycamore Street.to
the easterly property line of North Lemon Street produced northerly
across the roadway of said West Sycamore Street (excepting there-
from that portion of the roadway of West Sycamore Street lying
between the easterly property line of North Zeyn Street produced s
southerly to the center line of the roadway of said West Sycamore
Street and the westerly property line of North Zeyn Street pro-
duced southerly to the center line of the roadway of said West
Sycamore Street); and that those certain plans and profiles
numbered 28, 24, 19, 20, and 21 respectively and designated as
"Plan of proposed improvement on Walnut Street," "Plan of proposed
improvement on North-Citron Street," "Plan of proposed improvement
on North and South Helena Street," and "Plan of proposed improve-

ment on North Zeyn Street, " prepared by 0. E. Steward, City
Engineer, and which were filed in the office of the City Engineer
on the35th day of March, 1923, be and they are hereby adopted as
the plans and profiles for the work herein described.
And it is further resolved that said specifications be
and remain.on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim and that said plans and profiles be and remain on file
in the office of the City Engineer of said city and that the same
may be hereafter referred to for all purposes by the designations
herein mentioned and. contained.
The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim
and was signed and approved and attested by me this 15th day of
March, 1923.
