ri'HEREAS, the Board. of Trustees of the City of Anaheir:
did, on the 15th day of v-1arch, 1923, pass and adopts its Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 170, to order the following street work to
be done in said city, to -wit:
That the roadway of East North
Street, from the easterly property line
of North Los Angeles Street produced
northerly across the roadway of said

lights, together with lighting posts,
foundations, wires, pipes, conduits,
lamps, globes, sockets, and all o 'ther
appliances necessary for the complete
installation of a lighting system be
placed along both sides of East North

of North Los Angeles Street to a point
30 feet easterly from the center line of
North Olive Street, and along the center
parkir:g space of Mills Drive, and along

AND W EREAS, said Resolution of Intention did contain a
notice of the day, hour and place where any and all persons having
any objections to the said proposed work or improvement may appear
before said Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim and shoti ^.r cause
why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accord-
ance with said Resolution of Intention No. 170, and
WHEREAS, Thursday the lath day of April, 1C'3, at the
hour of eight o'clock P. 11. was therein designated as the day and
time when and the chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim, at Room 1, Masonic Temple Building, at No. 251 East Center
Street, in said city, was therein designated as the place where any
and all of such persons might appear before said Board of Trustees
and show cause as aforesaid, and
WHEREAS, thereafter, pursuant to law and to said Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 170, said Resolution of Intention No. 170 was
published twice in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a daily news-
paper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
said city, as will more fully appear from the affidavit of
ors file in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, after the adoption of said Resolution of Inten-
tion, the Street Superintendent did cause to be conspicuously post-
ed. along the line of said contemplated.vrork or improvement, at the
time and in the form and manner prescribed by law, notices of the
passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 170, as will more
fully appear from the affidavit of 0. E. Steward on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, thereafter no owners of property liable to be
assessed for said. work did make written protest against the pro-
posed work, witl::in the time prescribed by law, or otherwise,
