IN THE MATTER OF PAVING CERTAIN STREETS ADJOINING AND WITHIN THE
MILLS PARK TRACT, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, TOGETHER WITH THE CON-
STRUCTION OF CEMENT SIDEWALKS AND CEMENT CURBS ON SAID STREETS,
AND THE PLACING OF ORNAMENTAL LIGHT POSTS WITH FOUNDATIONS, WIRES,
PIPES, CONDUCTS, LAMPS, GLOBES, SOCKETS, AND ALL OTHER APPLIANCES
NECESSARY FOR THE CONSTPUCTION OF A L-16 `I - SYSTLDM.
RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim:
First: Thatthose certain specifications marked and
designated "Specifications No. 29, for the construction street
paving with asphaltic concrete base and with asphaltic concrete
wearing surface," prepared by 0. E. Steward, City Engineer of the
City of Anaheim and which were filed im.the office o? the
City Clerk of the said city on the -S - day of March, 1923, be and
they are hereby adopted as the specifications for thw work of
paving the roadway of East North Street, from the easterly property
line of North Los Angeles Street produced northerly across the
roadway of said East North Street to the westerly property line of
North Olive Street produced northerly to the center line of the
roadway of said East North Street and to the westerly property line
of North Olive Street produced southerly to the center line of the
roadway of said East North Street, including all•of the inter-
section of East North Street and North Claudina Street and all of
the intersection of East North Street and North Philadelphia
Street; for the work of paving the roadway of Mills Drive from
the easterly property line of North Los Angeles Street produced
northerly across the roadway of said Mills Drive to the westerly
property line of North Olive Street produced. northerly across the
roadway of said Mills Drive, including all the intersection of
said Mills Drive and. North Claudina Street and all the intersection
of Mills Drive and. North Emily Street and all the intersection of
Mills Drive and North Philadelphia Street, excepting therefrom all
the center parkways of Mills Drive; for the work of paving the
south half of the roadway of East La Palma Street foom a line drawn
at right angles northerly to the center line of the roadway of said
East La Palma Street and tangent to the curved property line at

the northwest corner of Lot Thirteen, Block Four of said Mills
Park Tract to a line drawn at right angles northerly to the
center line of the roadway of said East La Palma Street from the
intersection of the southerly property line of East La Palma
Street and the westerly property line of North Olive Street, in-
cluding all the intersection of said East La Palma Street and
North Claudina Street and all the intersection of East La Palma
Street and North Emily Street, and all the intersection of East
La Palma Street and North Philadelphia Street, and excepting
therefrom such portions of the south half of the roadway of said
East La Palma Street as have already been paved with concrete
pavement; for the work of paving the easterly half of the road-
way of North Los Angeles Street from the northerly property line
of West North Street produced easterly across the roadway of said
North Los Angeles Street to a line extending westerly at right
angles to the extended. center line of said North Los Angeles
Street and tangent to the curved property line at the northwest-
erly corner of Lot Thirteen, Block Four, of said Mills Park Tract,
including all the intersection of North Los Angeles Street and
Mills Drive and all the intersection of North Los Angeles Street
and La Palma Street lying southerly and. easterly of the concrete
pavement now laid, and excepting all portions of the easterly
half of the roadway of North Los Angeles Street nowpaved with
concrete or with concrete and asphalt wearing surface; for the
work of paving the westerly half of the roadway of North Los
Angeles Street from the northerly property line of West North
Street produced easterly across the roadway of said North Los
Angeles Street to a line extended northerly at right angles to the
center line of the roadway of said. North Los Angeles Street from
the intersection of the southerly property line of West La Palma
Street and the westerly property line of North Los Angeles Street,
including all the intersection of North Los Angeles Street and

West La Verne Street, and excepting therefrom all that portion of
the west half of the roadway of said North Los Angeles Street that
is already paved with concrete pavement and asphalt wearing
surface; for the work of paving the roadway of North Claudina
Street from the northerly property line of East North Street pro-
duced easterly across the roadway of said North Claudina Street
to the southerly property line of Mills Drive produced easterly
across the roadway of said North Claudina Street; for the work of
paving the roadway of North Claudina Street from the northerly
property line of bills Drive extended easterly across the roadway
of said North Claudina Street to a line produced westerly to the
center line of said North Claudina Street and at right angles
thereto from the point of intersection of the easterly property
line of said North Claudina Street and the southerly property line
of East La Palma Street, and to a line produced easterly to the
center line of said North Claudina Street and at right angles there
to from the point of intersection of the westerly property line
of said North Claudina Street and the southerly property line of
East La Palma Street; for the work of paving the roadway of North
Emily Street from the northerly property line of Mills Drive pro-
duced easterly across the roadway of said North Emily Street to a
line produced westerly to the center line of said North Emily
Street and at right angles thereto from the point of intersection
of the easterly property line of said North Emily Street and the
southerly property line of East La Palma Street and to aline
produced easterly to the center line of said North Emily Street
and at right angles thereto from the point of intersection of the
westerly property line of said North Emily Street and. the south-
erly property line of East La Palma Street; for the work of paving
the roadway of North Philadelphia Street from the northerly
property line of East North Street produced easterly across the
roadway of said North Philadelphia Street to the southerly property

line of Mills Drive produced easterly across the roadway of said
North Philadelphia Street; and for the work of paving the road-
way of North Philadelphia Street from the northerly property line
of Mills Drive produced easterly across the roadway of said North
Philadelphia Street to a line produced westerly to the center
line of said North Philadelphia and at right angles thereto from
the point of intersection of the easterly property dine of said
North Philadelphia Street and the southerly property line of
East La Palma Street and. to a line produced easterly to the center
line of said North Philadelphia Street and at right angles thereto
from the point of intersection of the westerly property line of
said North Philadelphia Street and the southerly property line of
East La Palma Street; and that those certain plans and profiles
numbered f 1 18" and designated as "Mills Park Improvement Plans,"
prepared by 0. E. Steward, City Engineer, and which were filed
in the office of the City Engineer of said city on the 14th day
of July, 1921, be and. they are 'hereby adopted as the plans and
profiles for the work herein described.
Second: That those certain specifications marked and
designated "Specifications for the construction of cement side-
walks and cement curbs" prepared by 0. E. Steward, City Engineer
of the City of Anaheim and which were filed in the office of the
City Clerk of'the said city on the 14th day of July, 1921, be and
they are hereby adopted as the specifications for the work of
constructing concrete sidewalks and concrete curbs along the north -
erly side of East North Street from the easterly property line of
North Los Angeles Street, produced southerly across said North
Los Angeles Street, to the westerly property line of North Olive
Street, produced southerly across said North Olive Street, includ-
ing the block corner at North Los Angeles Street and the block
corners at North Claudina Street and at North Philadelphia Street,
including the twenty -foot alley crossing between North Los Angeles

delphia Street; including the twenty -foot alley crossing on each
side of North Philadelphia Street; and for the construction of

7 Street; and for the construction of concrete sidewalks and
8 concrete curbs on the west Bide of North Olive Street from the
9 northerly property line of East North Street produced easterly
10 across said North Olive Street to the southerly property line of
11 East La Palma Street produced easterly.across said North Olive
12 Street, including the block corners at East North Street and at
13 Mills Drive, and including the twenty -f6ot alley crossing between
14 East North Street and. Mills Drive, and including the fifteen -foot
15 alley crossing between Mills Drive and East La Palma Street; and
16 for the construction of concrete curb along the east side of North
17 Olive Street from the northerly property line of North Street
18 produced easterly across said North Olive Street to the southerly
19 property line of East La Palma Street produced easterly across
20 said North Olive Street; and that those certain plans and profiles
21 numbered "18" and designated as "Mills Park Improvement Plans,"
22 prepared by 0'. E. Steward, City Engineer, and which were filed
23 in the office of the City Engineer on the 15th day of March,
24 1923, be and they are hereby adopted as the plans and profiles for
25 the work herein described.
2.6 Third: That those certain specifications marked and
27 designated "Specifications No. 30, for the construction of
28 ornamental street lights in the City of Anaheim," prepared by
29 0. E. Steward, City Engineer of the City of Anaheim and which
30 were filed in the office of the City Clerk of the said city on
31 the 15th day of March, 1923, be and they are hereby adopted as
street
32 the specifications for the work of placing ornamental/lights,

together with lighting posts, foundations, wires, pipes, conducts,
lamps, globes, sockets, and all other appliances necessary for
the complete installation of a lighting system,along both sides
of East North Street from the easterly property line of North Los
Angeles Street to a point 30 feet easterly from the center line of
North Olive Street, and along the center parking space of Mills
Drive, and along both sides of North Los Angeles Street from two
feet south of the southerly property line of West North Street to
the southerly property line of East La Palma Street, and along
both sides of North Claudina Street from the northerly property
line of East North Street to the southerly property line of Mills
Drive, and along both sides of North Claudina Street from the
northerly property line of dills Drive to the southerly property
line of East La Palma Street, and along both sides of North Emily
Street from the northerly property line of Mills Drive to the
southerly property line of East La Palma Street, and along both
sides of North Philadelphia Street from the northerly property
line of East North Street to the southerly property line of Mills
Drive, and along both sides of North Philadelphia Street from the
northerly property line of Mills Drive to the southerly property
line of East La Palma Street, and along both sides of North Olive
Street from the northerly property line of East North Street to
the southerly property line of East La Palma Street; and that
those certain plans and profiles numbered "18+ and designated as
"Mills Park Improvement Plans," prepared by 0. E. Steward, City
Engineer, and which were filed in the dffice of the City Engineer
on the 15th day of March, 1923, be and they are hereby adopted
as the plans and profiles for the work herein described.
And it is further resolved that said specifications be
and remain on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim and that said plans and profiles be and remain on file
in the office of the City Engineer of said city, and that the same

herein mentioned and contained.
The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim
and was signed and approved -and attested by me this 15th day of
