THE PROPERTY LINE OF WEST BROADWAY STREET AND THE LAY-
ING OUT AND OPENING OF A 15-FOOT ALLEY FROM THE fihTERLY PROPERTY
LINE OF SOUTH INDIANA STREET TO THE EASTERLY PROPERTY LINE OF
SOUTH WEST STREET, IV THE CITY OF AVAREIM, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES HAS ACQUIRED
JURISDICTION TO ORDER THE DOING OF WORK.
Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim
did, on the 14th day of December, 1922, pass and adopt its
Resolution of Intention No. 167 to order the following described
street work to be done in said city, to -wit:
That South Illinois Street, in said city, be laid out,
opened and / extended from the northerly line of Lohman Tract to

the y property line of West Broadway Street, and that a
15 --foot alley be laid out and opened from the westerly property
line of South Indiana Street to the easterly property line of
South Test Street, and'
Whereas, after the adoption of said Resolution of
Intention, the Street Superintendent of said city did cause to
be conspicuously posted along the said line of said contemplated
work or improvement, at the time, in the manner and in the form
provided by law, notice of the passage of said Resolution of
Intention No. 167, as will more fully appear from the affidavit
of 0. E. Steward, on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said city, and
'Whereas, said Street Superintendent did, at the time
and in the manner required by law, cause a notice similar in
substance to be published for a period of not less than ten
days in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in said city, as
will more fully appear from the affidavit of R. W. Ernest, on
file in the office of the City ^lark of said city, and

1 Whereas, no person or persons interested in said work
2 or improvement did thereafter make written objection to the
3 same, in the manner required by law, or otherwise,

4 Now, Therefore, be it resolved by the Board of
5 Trustees of the City of Anaheim:
6 Section 1. That all acts and things required by law
i
7 to be done to vest said Board of Trustees with jurisdiction for
8 order the doing of said work have been done and complied with.
9 Section 2. That said Board of Trustees does hereby
10 find and determine that it has acquired jurisdiction to order
11 I the doing of said work in accordance with said Resolution of
12 I� Intention No. 167.
The foregoing Resolution is signed, approved and
II attested by me this 19th day of February, 1923.
