RFSOLVED by the Roard of Trustees of the City of
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
require and the Roard of Trustees of the City of Anaheim,
pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 159 of the Roard of
Trustees of the (`ity of Anaheim, which said Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 159 was duly passed and adoRted by said Roard of
Trustees on the .?7th day of April, 1922, hereby orders the
following described str-et Bork to be done in said city, try -wit:
First. That the roadway of North
Clementine Street in said city from the
southerly property line of 'Vest Cy-
press Street, produced Westerly across
the roadway of North Clementine Street
to a line produced westerly across the
roadway of said North Clementine
Street, said line being parallel to and
Forty -four and seventy -five hundredths
(44.75) feet northerly from the center
line of hest Center Street (excepting
therefrom that portion of the roadway
( f North Clementine Street lying be-
tween the northerly and southerly
property lines of West Chartres Street
produced westerly across the roadway
of said North Clementine Street), be
v�raded to the official grade and paved
with hydraulic concrete base and with
asphaltic wearing surface.
Second. That the roadway of South
Clementine Street in said city, from a
line produced westerly across the road-
way of said South Clementine Street,
said line being parallel to and distant
southerly forty -four and seventy -five
hundredths (44.75) feet from the center
line of West Center Street, to the
northerly property line of West Broad-
way Street, produced Westerly across
the roadway of said South Clementine
Street (excepting therefrom that por-
tion of the roadway of said South Clem-
entine Street lying between the North-
erly and Southerly property lines of
I)ak Street produced Westerly across
the roadway of said South Clementine
Street, also excepting therefrom that
portion of the roadway of said South
Clementine Street lying between the
Northerly and Southerly property lines
of Chestnut Street produced Westerly
across the roadway of said South Clem-
entine Street and excepting therefrom
that portion - of the roadway of said
South Clementine Street lying between
the Northerly and Southerly property
lines of 3rd South Street produced
Westerly across the roadway of said
South Clementine Street);
Be graded to the official grade and
paved with hydraulic concrete base
and with asphaltic wearing surface.
Said work shall be done in accord-
ance with the plans, profiles, and spe-
cifications therefor, which said plans
and profiles were adopted by the Board
of Trustees of the City of Anahem, by
resolution on the 27th day of April,
1922, are numbered "14" and are marked
and designated "Plan of proposed im-
provements on Clementine Street, Ana-
heim Calif.," and are on file in the
office of the City Engineer of said
City, and which said specifications were
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim by resolution on the
28th day of July, 1921, and which said
specifications are marked and desig-

nated "Specifications No. 26 for the
Construction of Street paving with hy-
draulic concrete base and asphaltic
wearing surface in the City of Anaheim,
California," which said specifications
are on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
SPOTIOV 2. It is further hereby determined and
declared in pursuance of said Resolution of Intention Vo. 15
that serial bonds
shall be issued to represent assess-
ments of $25.00 or over, for the cost
and expense of said work and improve-
ment; that said serial bonds shall ex-
tend over a period of nine years from
the second day of January next suc-
ceeding their date and an even annual
proportion oft a principal sum thereof
shall be payabl , by coupon, on the 2nd
day of January of every year after
their date, until the whole is paid, and
the interest shall be payable semi -an-
nually, by coupon, on the 2nd day of
January and July respectively of each
year at the rate of seven per cent per
annum on all sums unpaid until the
whole of said principal and interest are
paid.
Said bonds shall be issued under and
by virtue of the provisons of an Act
of the Legislature of the State of Cali-
fornia entitled, "An Act to provide for
work in and upon streets, avenues,
lanes alleys courts places and side-
walks within municipalities and upon
property and rights of way owned by
municipalities and for establishing and
changing the grades of any such
streets, avenues, lanes, alleys courts,
places and sidewalks and providing for
the issuance and payment of street im-
provement bonds to represent certain
assessments for the cost thereof and
providing a method for the payment of
such bonds" approved April 7, 1911, and
all acts amendatory thereof.

SFCTI(M 3. All /the herein proposed work and improve-
ment and all proceedings taken in regard thereto shall be in
pursuance of and in accordance �lith an Act of the Legislature of
the State of California, entitled, "An Act to provide for work
in and upon streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and
sidewalks within nunicipalities and upon property and rights of
way owned ry - municipalities and for establishing and changing
the grades of any such streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts,
places and sidewalks, and providing for the issuance and payment
of street improver.ent bonds to represent certain assessments for
the cost thereof and nToviding a method for the payment of such
bonds," approved Arril 7, 1911, and all acts amendatory thereof.
SFCTIOV 4. The lity clerk of the city of Anaheim is
hereby directed to post conspicuously for five days, on or near

the chan.ber door of the Board of Trustees of said City of Anaheim,
a notice of said work inviting sealed proposals or bids and a
copy of specifications No. 26, adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the said City of Anaheim on the 28th day of July, 1921; he is
also directed to cause a copy of said Votice to be published twice
in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a daily newspaper of general
circulation, printed., published and circulated in said city,
which said newsparer is hereby designated for that purpose.
Said notice shall invite sealed proposals or bids for
doing the work ordered and shall refer to the specifications
posted and on file, which said notice shall require all proposals
or bids offered to Ine accompanied by a check rayable to the City
of Anaheir., certified by a responsible bank for an amount which
shall not be leos than ten per cent of the aggregate of the

proposal or/a bond for the said amount so payable, signed by the
bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer
competent to administer an oath, in double the said amount and
over and above all statutory exemptions.
Thursday, the 14th day of September, 19 is hereby
designated and fixed as the day on which, up to the hour of 8
o'clock P. 14. the said proposals or bids shall be received and
the said notices shall so specify.
