RESOLUTION OF INTENTION Mo 159.
A resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim,
declaring its intention to order the paving of certain portions of
the roadway of North Clementine Street, in said City, from the
southerly property line of hest Cypress Street, produced westerly
across the roadway of said North Clementine Street, to a line pro-
duced westerly across the roadway of said North Clementine Street,
said line being parallel to and forty -four and seventy -five hun-
dredths (44,75) feet northerly from the center line of hest Center
Street, in said city, and certain portions of the roadway of South
Clementine Street, from a line produced westerly across the road-
way of said South Clementine Street, said line being parallel to
and distant southerly forty -four and seventy -five hundredths (44.75
feet from the center line of West Center Street, to the prorerty
line of Broadway Street, in said city, produced westerly across
the roadway of South Clementine Street.
RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim;
SEction 1. That the public interest and convenience require
land that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City
�of Anaheim to order the following described street work to be dose
24 in said city, to -wit;
25 First. That the roadway of ITorth Clementine Street in said
26 city from the southerly property line of test Cypress Street, pro -
27 duced Westerly across the roadway of North Clementine Street to a
28 line produced Westerly across the zoadway of said North Clemen-
29 ine Street, said line being parallel to and Forty -four and seven -
30 y -five hundredths (44.75) feet northerly from the center line of
31 pst Center Street (excepting therefrom that portion of the road.

the official grade and paved with hydraulic concrete base and with
asphaltic wearing surface.
Second. That the roadway of South Clementine Street in said.
city, from a line produced westerly across the roadway of said
South Clementine Street, said line being parallel to and distant
southerly forty -four and seventy -five hundredths (44.75) feet from
the center line of West Center Street, to the northerly property
line of West Broadway Street,' produced Westerly across the roadway
of said South Clementine Street (excepting therefrom that portion
of the roadway of said South Clementine Street lying between the
Northerly and Southerly property lines of Oak Street produced ides
erly across the roadway of said South Clementine Street., also ex-
cepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of said South Cle
tine Street lying between the Yortherly and Southerly property
lines of Chestnut Street produced resterly across the roadway of
said South Clementine Street and excepting therefrom that portion
of the roadway of said South Clementine Street lying between the
Yo rth erl;T and Southerly property lines of 3rd South Street produc-

Be graded to the official grade and. paved with hydraulic con -
crete base and with asphaltic wearinIg surface.
Said work shall be done in accordance with the plans,, profiles,
therefor
and specification, which said plans and profiles were adopted
by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, by resolution on
the 27th day of+1', 1922, are numbered "14" and are marked and
designated, "Plan of proposed improvements on Clementine Street,Az
heim, Calif. ," and are on file in the office of the City Engineer
said City, and which said specifications were edopfed by the Board o
Traustees of the Ci$y of Areheimby re arlution on the 28th dey of JMy 1922, and W.

said specifications are marked and designated "Specifications No.
26 for the Construction of Street paving with hydraulic concrete
base and asphaltic wearing surface in the City of Anaheim, Cali-
fornia,," which said specifications are on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
Section 2. Notice is hereby given that on Thursday the 25th
day of May, 1922, at the hour of 8 o'clock p, m., at the chamber
of the Board of trustees of the City of Anaheim at Room 1 in the
Masonic Temple Building at No. 255 East Center Street, in said
city, any and all persons having objections to the proposed work
or improvement may appear before the Board of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim and show cause why said proposed work and im-
provement should not be carried out in accordance with this
resolution.
Seot3,on 3. That said Board of Trustee €, hereby further deter-
mine that serial bonds shall be issued to represent assessments

of or over, for the cost and expenses of said work and
improvement; that said serial bonds shall extend over a period
of nine years from the second day of January, next succeeding
their date and an even annual proportion of the principal sum
thereof shall be payable, by coupon on the 2nd day of January
every year after their date, until the whole is paid and the
interest shall be payable semi-annually, by coupon, on the 2nd
day of January and July, respectively of each year at the rate
Of seven per cent per annum on all sums unpaid until the whole
of said principal and interest are paid.
Said bonds shall be issued under and by virtue of the provis-.
ions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California,
entitled, "An aot to provide for work in and upon streets, aven-
ues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks within muniei-
palities and upon property and rights of way owned by municipal-

1 ities and for establishing and changing the ,grades of any such
2 streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks,
3 and providing for the issuance and payment of street improvement
4 bonds to represent certain assessments for the cost thereof and
5 providing a method for the payment of such bonds," approved April:
6 7, 1911, and all acts amendatory thereof.
7 Section 4. The CaQi1•t hereby desig-
8 nated as the newspaper printed, published and circulated in said
9 City in which this resolution shall be published.
10 The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed to
11 publish this resolution by two successive insertions in said
12 newspaper, and to post the same for two days conspicuously on
13 or near the chamber door of the Beard of Trustees of said City
14 of Anaheim.
15 The Street Superintendent shall i- .mediately cause to be conspic
16 uously posted along the line of said contemplated work or improve
17 ment and in front of all the property liable to be assessed, no-
18 tice of the passage of this resolution of intention in the manner
19 and form required by law.
20 All of the herein proposed work and improvement and all pro -
21 ceedings taken in regard thereto shall be in pursuance of and in
22 accordance with an Act of the Legislature of the State of Cali -
23 fornia, entitled, "An act to provide for work in and upon streets,
24 avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks within mun-
25 icipa,lities and upon property and rights of way owned by munici-
26 palities and for establishing and changing the grades of any
27 such streets,` avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and side -
28 walks, and providing for the issuance and payment of street im
29 provement bonds to represent certain assessments for the cost
30 thereof and providing a method for the payment of such bonds
31 approved April 7, 1911, and all acts amendatory thereof.
