A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF A.3AREIM DECLAR
ING ITS INTENTICU TO ORDER THE LAYING OUT AI1D OPENING OF AN 12109EM
BEY FRDM THE SOUTHERLY PROPERTY LINE OF WEST SOUTH STREET TO THE
NORTHERLY PROPERTY LINE OF VEST BROAD STREET IN SAID CITY.
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require
and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Anaheim to order the following described street work to be done
in said city, to -wit; That an alley be laid out and open-
ed in said city, from the southerly property line of Vest South
Street, to the northerly property line of Vest Broad Street, in
said city.
SECTION 2. That the land deemed necessary to be taken for said
work and improvement is situate within the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, and is described as follows, to-
wit; Beginning at a point in the present southerly property line
of West South Street, said point being one hundred eighty -two and
seventy-seven one - hundredths (182.77) feet westerly from the point
of intersection of the present southerly property line of West
South Street and the present westerly property line of South Leman
Street; thence Easterly along said present southerly property line
of West South street twenty -eight and sixty -five one - hundredths
(28.65) feet; thence Southerly parallel to the present westerly
property line of South Lemon Street, one thousand two hundred
eighty -nine and fifteen one - hundredths (1289.15) feet to the pres-
ent northerly property line of West Broad Street; thence westerly
along said present northerly line twenty and ninety one - hundredths
(20.90) feet, thence northerly one thousand two hundred eighty -nin+
and fifteen Qne- hundredths (1289.15) feet to place of beginning.
SECTION 5. That the exterior boundaries of the district of
the lands to be affected and benefited by said work and improve-
ment and to be assessed to pay the damages, costs and expenses

thereof, which said district is within the City of Anaheim, County
of grange, State of California, are particularly described as
follows, to -wit; Beginning at the point of intersection of the
present southerly property line of West loath Street and the pres-
ent westerly property line of South Lemon Street; thence Souther-
ly along the present westerly property line of South Lemon Street,
one thousand two hundred eighty -nine and fifteen one - hundredths
(1289.15) feet to the present northerly property line of 71+est
Broad Street; thence westerly along said present northerly line
three hundred twenty -six and twenty -four one - hundredths (326.24)
feet; thence northerly parallel to the present westerly property
line of South LEemon Street one thousand two hundred eighty -nine
and fifteen one- hundredths (1289.15) feet to the present Souther-

SECTION 4, All of the herein described street work shall be
done pursuant to the provisions of an act of the legislature of
the State of California, entitled, "An. Act to provide for laying
out, opening, extending, widening, straightening, or closing up,
in whole or in part any street, square, lane, alley, court or
Place within municipalities and to condemn and acquire any and
all land and property necessary or convenient for that Purpose
approved. Iljarch 6th, 1889, and the several acts amendatory there-
of and supplementary thereto.
SECTION 5. The 9�e daily newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said

, ity of Anaheim, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which
the Street Superintendent notice of the passage of this resolu-
tion shall be published.
The Street Superintendent of said City of Anaheim shall, and
tie is hereby authorized and directed to forthwith cause to be con-
spicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work or im-
provement, at not more than three hundred feet in distance apart,
but not less than three in all, notices of the passage of this
resolution at the time and in the form and manner required by law,
and he shall -also cause a notice, similar in substance, to be pub-
lished for a period of ten days in said newspaper.
The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular
Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim on the
2 day of April, A. D. 1922, and is signed, approved and attest-
ed by me this 27th day of April, 1922.
