A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO" 1324
WHEREAS, the City Plannir,g Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a re.quest for a Conditional Use Permit from
Dewitt R. Lee, et a1., owner, Mobil Oil Corporation, agent, to
establish a self-service automobile service station with conven-
ience retail sales within 75 feet of R-1, SINGLE FAMILY, zoned
property on C-l, GENERAL COMMERCIAL, zoned property described
as follows:
The West 230.00 feet of the South 188.00 feet of the
North 254.00 feet of the Northwest quarter of Section
18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 51, page 10
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County.
Except that portion thereof described as Parcel 2 in
a Deed to the State of California recorded March 12,
1957, in Book 3833, page 517 of Official Records.
A portion of said land is included within the area
shown on a map filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County, in Book 34, page 44
of Record of Surveys in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on July 10. ~972 . notices of which
said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the
provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspectiont in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearingt did adopt its Resolution No. PC 72-154

WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in denvinq said Conditional
Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on

Auqust 8 , 19 72 , at the City Hall, in the City
of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
that Conditional Use Permit No. 1324 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
t~e ~ity of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
m~ss~on denyinq Conditional Use Permit No. 1324 be,
and the same is hereby sustained, and that the request of
Mobil Oil corporation as agent of the recorded owner to establish
a self-service automobile service station with conv~nience retail
sales on the hereinbefore described property is denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
