R SOLV&D by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim:
I.
That the public interest and convenience require t Vt the

City of Anaheim purchase and acquire 840 feet of ASIL inch (1Qo')
°�n'•�t''�' cast iron water pipe, also the
following fitting
One 10" x 10" x 4" Cast Iron Tea
II.
All of said cast iron pipe and fittings shall conform to the
following specifications, which are hereby adopted as speeificatio s
therefor:
Said pipe to be Class "C" of Twelve (12) foot lengths, and
to comply in every particular with specifications for cast iron
wate l pipe as adopted on the 12th day of May, 1908, by the Ame ric4
~rater Works Associatioh, a copy of which specifications so adopted
was filed in tie office of the City Clark in the 'City of on
on the 24th day of April, 1919, and is now on file in the o=fice of
the said City Clark, and which said copy` of said specifications is
hereby referred to and which specifications are adopted as the
specifications for such water- pipe fittings.
"' Said fittings shall be Cla "D" cast iron and conform
in every particular to the specifications harein referred to.

shall become the property of the City of Anaheim as liquidated
damages if within ten days after the acceptance of any such bid
the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the
City of Anaheim for furnishing and delivering unto said City said
cast iron pipe and fittings and furnishing the bond hereinafter
required.
Such check

shall
be in an amount
equal to not less
than one -tenth
(1 /10th)
of the'
amount of said
bid.
VII.
The successful bidder shall within tend ays after the accept-
ance of his bid furnish unto the City of Anaheim a contract fdr
the delivery of said cast iron pipe and fittings, and a bond in
the penal sum of fifty per cent (50) of the amount of his bid
executed by two ,good and sufficient sureties within the State of
California who shall justify anddouble the amount of saigYbond
in unincumbered property within the State of California other than
property exempt for execution, or by a corporation authorized to
execute bonds within the State _)f C' which said bonds
shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of said contract
and shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees of
the City of Anaheim.
VIII.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim reserves the rig
to reject any and all bids or any part of any bid.
The foregoing resolution is signed, approved and attested by

cast was that there were votes
16 cast at suc special election in favor of the annexation
of said territory, and there were no votes cast thereat
17 against the annexation of said territory to the City of
Anaheim, and that the votes cast at said special election
18 in favor of the annexation of said territory to said
City 'of Anaheim constitute a majority of all of the votes.

Board of Trustees that said election was valid and regu-
20 larly held, the said Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim does hereby declare that by voice 3;g the qualified
21 electors of said territory hereinafter described have
voted in favor of, and to annex to the City of Anaheim,

Tha City Clark of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed to
enter upon the minutes of the meeting of said Board at which this
resolution is adopted a record of the canvass of the votes cast
at said special election, stating the proposition submitted at
said special election end showing the hole number of votes cast
at said special election, the number of votes cast in favor of
such annexation of said territory herein described to the City of
.naheim, and the number of votes cast avainst such annexation.
The foregoing resolution is signed, approved and attested
