A RESOLUTION OF 'PHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING NqD DETElli~INING THAT A
CH]~GE OF 30NE SHOULD NOT BE GRNiTED IN A
CERTAEJ ARKi\ OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, tlll~ City Plann.ing Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the bouJ1daries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed
a time and place for the holdincr of a public hearinq thereon
ill the mann~r and as prescribed~ in Title 18 of the Anaheir.1
Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted such
public hearing to consider saic, proposed change of zone or zones,
and after havinq received evidence and reports from persons
interested therein and "-
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described and
~VHEREAS,upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 12th day of September, 1972, for a public hearing and
subsequently granted a public re-hearing on November 28, 1972,
and continued re--hearing to December 5, 1972, as the time and
the Council Chamber in tho City Hall of the City of Anaheim as
the place for the public re-hearing upon said proposed change of
zone or zones and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
\rtiEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
re-hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
re-hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and
did thereUpon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
\rdEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which
it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be
granted.

the City of AnaheiJ~ that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheij~, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Lots Nos. 1 and 2 of Tract 1940 as shown in Book 82,
pages 8, 9, 10 of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
remain in R-l (Single Family Residential Zone) in which it is now
incorporated and that the reclassification to C-l (General Commer-
cial Zone) be denied as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
