When people vote for a project like this it reinforces what they don't know. My wife and I
grew up in West Anaheim ,she also lived in East Anaheim and we owned our first home
in downtown Anaheim. We never knew anything about wildfires and Santa Ana winds
until we moved to Anaheim Hills. We have had a fire burn up to a 100 yards from us.and
have had the warning knock that evacuation was close another four.The council members
who supported this vote have a detached and uncaring attitude regarding the horror of these
events ,comparing them to contained fires in city areas, not even close to the same issue.
We are proud lifetime residents of Anaheim. Please don't put our lives in further danger.
