Hello valued city hall worker, or to any other lovely person currently reading, my name is Cesar, and I've been a resident of Orange County
practically my whole life.
Since its inception, California has had homelessness, that part's never going to change, no matter the place. However, in 2025, "California saw a
9% reduction in unsheltered homelessness, a 24% reduction in youth homelessness since 2019, and over 90,000 californians moved into
permanent housing since 2023" after investing in homelessness service providers.
So, I believe that the City of Anaheim should continue its support in financing homelessness programs and possibly increase its help, while it is
within reason.
It is clear that giving financial support to these homelessness programs, for California at least, has helped decrease the influence of the problem, so
let's not stop this support and continue on with helping the public in this way.
