City Leaders,
I saw that individuals are advocating for a Chicken Ordinance to allow individuals to keep 5-6 hens in thei r backyards.
Based on health and safety reasons as well as aesthetics, I believe if this is allowed i t will negati vely affect the quali ty of life i n the
neighborhood.
It will cause disagreement among neighbors, which invariably will cause law enforcement to be i nvolved. Anaheim Police i s
already busy with other important matters. Let's not add more to their plate. Also property values might be i mpacted if one tri es
to sell their house with neighbors keeping chickens in the backyard.
I respectfully submit this email to voice my opposition to this idea.
