To Whom it May Concern,
I’m writing this to implore the board to recons ider the Fes tival Center Apartment project. During the Yorba Linda fire, it took my hus band 1.5 hours to go one mile to
take my handicap s on to his day program. It took me 2.5 hrs to get home to help get ready to evacuate, coming from the other direction.
The traffic conges tion is already at an all time high from the 91 eas tbound due to commuters using Santa Ana Canyon Rd thru to Gyps um Canyon as a s hortcut.
Adding hundreds of more res idents will as s uredly caus e a repeat Paradise fire res ult. As it is, we have to time our s hopping at Savi Ranch around high freeway
s hortcut timing or be s tuck in traffic an extra 30-50 mins jus t to go a few miles eas t.
Pleas e think beyond the money and politics and cons ider the res idents that will be affected the most.
