RESOLUTION NO. 73R-379
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 2527,
IN PART.
~iHEREAS, after a request for variance by JOHN CRAIG
NEIDLINGER, agent for NORM'S RESTAURANTS, INCORPORATED, owner,
was received, a public hearing before the Planning Commission
of the City of Anaheim was held upon due and proper notice as
a result of which Variance No. 2527 was granted in part, cover-
ing the following described property:
Parcell.
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 10 of
Villa Place Addition, as per map recorded in Book 6
page 8 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County; and running thence
westerly along the northerly line of West Center
Street, 70 feet; thence northerly, parallel with the
westerly line of said Lot 10, 100 feet; thence east-
erly parallel with said northerly line of West Center
Street, 70 feet to the westerly line of said Lot 10;
thence southerly 100 feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel 2.
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of Lot 10
of Villa Place Addition, as per map recorded in Book 6
page 8 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County, distant thereon 100
feet only from the southwest corner of said Lot 10, and
running thence westerly, parallel with the northerly
line of West Center Street, 34.8 feet, more or less,
to a point which is distant easterly along said parallel
line 150 feet from the easterly line of Lot 12 of "Sub-
division of Lot 34, Anaheim Extension,i1 as per map re-
corded in Book 3 page 229 of Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, California; thence northerly, par-
allel with the easterly line of Lots 12, 11 and 10 of
said "Subdivision of Lot 34, Anaheim Extension," to the
South line of Lincoln Avenue; thence easterly, along
said South line of Lincoln Avenue, to the northwest cor-
ner of Lot 10 of said Villa Place Addition; thence south-
erly, along the westerly line of said Lot 10, 104.92
feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel 3.

Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 10 of Villa
Place Addition, as per map recorded in Book 6 page 8 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County; and running thence northerly along the
westerly line of said Lot 10, 100 feet; thence westerly
parallel with the northerly line of West Center Street,
34.8 feet, more or less, to a point which is distant
along said parallel line 150 feet from the easterly line

Lot 10 of Villa Place Addition, in the City of F~aheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 6 page 8 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
v~qEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed
by law an interested party or ti1e City Council on its ovm"
motion caused the review of said Planning Cor~lission action
at a public hearing noticed and held as prescribed by law
and as a result thereof the City Council does hereby make
the follovling findings:
1.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PiliSOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anahei:m 'that a ConcU tional Zoning Variance be,
and the same is hereby granted permitting a non-flashing or
blinking fifty (SO)-foot high, free~standing identification
sign with waivers of the follmving sections of the Anaheim
r1unicipal Code:

That said variance be granted, in part, subject to the following
conditions;
1. That the owner of subject property shall deed
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 40 feet in width from the
centerline of the street along Lincoln Avenue for street widening
purposes.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 60~ per front foot along Lincoln
Avenue and Center Street for tree planting purposes.

3. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot along Center
Street for street lighting purposes.
4. That adequate clearance of existing electrical
lines shall be provided as required by the Electrical Division,
Department of Public utilities, and the State of California G.0.9S.
s. Landscaping shall be provided in the parking area
in conformance with the C-l Site Development Standards.
6. That subject property shall be developed
substantially in accordance with plans and specifications on
file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibits Nos. 1, 2, and 3.
7. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, above
mentioned, shall be complied with prior to the commencement of
the activity authorized under this resolution, or prior to the
time that the building permit is issued, or within a period of
one year from date hereof, whichever occurs first, or such
further time as the Planning Commission may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
reserves the right to revoke such variance permit for good
cause or failure of said owner, its successors or assigns
to comply with the Anaheim Municipal Code and regulations and
the conditions herein. Said variance is granted for the term
prescribed by the Anaheim Municipal Code unless otherwise speci-
fied herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
