A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY A!~D FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1971 in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of all of Lombard Drive and a portion of Hermosa
Drive located north of La Palma Avenue between West Street and
Euclid Street, in the City of Anaheim, more fully hereinafter
described, subject to the fOllowing conditions:
1. That Reclassification No. 72-73-34 and Conditional
Use Permit No. 1375 be approved by the City Council
and all conditions therein be complied with.
2. That dedication of the cul-de-sac proposed at the
terminus of Hermosa Drive be made concurrently with
tile approval of said abandonment, and applicant to
submit standard street improvement plans to City
Engineer for approval.
3. That a bond be posted to cover the installation of
new street improvements required at the cul-de-sac
proposed, the relocation, r~~odeling and/or revision
to existing facilities, including sanitary sewer line
and installation of new manholes as required by City
Engineer.
4. That a public utility easement be reserved over,
under and across all of Hermosa Drive and LOIT~ard
Drive for the Southern California Gas Company.
5. That a public utility easement be reserved over,
under and across the northerly 6 feet of Lombard
Drive for the Utility Department of the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon, and close to public use all of Lombard Drive and
a portion of Hermosa Drive located north of La Palma Avenue
between West Street and Euclid Street, in the City of Anaheim,
as it may relate to the following described property:

That portion of those certain roadways commonly known as
Lombard Drive and Hermosa Drive located in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, lying
within Tract No. 1691, as sho'~ on a map recorded in Book
52, pages 18 and 19, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, to be abandoned, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 17 in said Tract
1691; thence N 660 22' 46t1 E, 313.27 feet along a line
parallel with and 25 feet northerly of the centerline of
said Hermosa Drive to the beginning of a tangent curve con-
cave northeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet; thence
Northeasterly and Northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 660 19' 18" an arc distance of 28.94

feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and
25 feet westerly of the centerline of said Lombard
Drive; thence N 00 03' 25" W, 96.67 feet along said
parallel line to the northeast corner of Lot 12 in said
Tract 1691; thence N 660 22' 4011 E, 54.60 feet to the
northwest corner of Lot 11 of said Tract 1691, said
northwest corner being a point in a line parallel with
and 25 feet easterly of the centerline of said Lombard
Street; thence S 00 03' 28" 'iv, 609.21 feet, more or
less, along said parallel line to the beginning of a
curve concave northeasterly and having a radius of 15
feet; thence Southerly and Southeasterly along said curve
through a central angle of 890 48' 40" an arc distance
of 23.15 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 53 feet northerly of the centerline of La Palma
Avenue; thence N 890 45' 2211 W, 64.19 feet along the last
mentioned parallel line to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 25 feet westerly of the centerline of
said Lombard Drive; thence N 00 03' 2811 E, 603.08 feet
along the last mentioned parallel line to the beginning
of a curve concave southwesterly and having a radius of
25 feet; thence Northerly and Northwesterly along said
curve through a central angle of 1130 40' 4211 an arc
distance of 49.60 feet to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 25 feet southerly of the centerline of
said Hermosa Drive; thence S 660 22' 46" vl, 269.42 feet
along said parallel line to a point in a curve concave
southwesterly and having a radius of 50 feet, to a radial
line bearing S 230 37' 14" E passes through said point::
thence Northwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 900 0' an arc distance of 78.54 feet to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 25 feet
northerly of the centerline of said Hermosa Drive; thence
N 660 22' 46" E, 50.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom to the City of Anaheim an easement
for public utility purposes over, under and across the
northerly 6 feet of the above described Loniliard Drive.
Also reserving unto the Southern California Gas Company
an easement for public utility purposes over, under and
across all of the above described land together with the
right of ingress and egress to cover existing facilities.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1971, subject to the conditions hereinabove set
forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 26th day of
June , 1973, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the<:ouncil Chamber
in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the k1aheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in the said City of Anaheim.
