AGENDA ACTION TAKEN
1) CALL TO ORDER: The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. by Chair
Kleine.
2) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Chair Kleine led the Board in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
3) UNSCHEDULED PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: None.
4) SCHEDULED COMMUNICATION: None.
5) APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Chair Kleine presented the February 12, 2026, meeting minutes for
Board Members' review and any necessary corrections. Board member Barnett noted a correction to
the language, stating the wording should reflect that the item was moved rather than "motioned." She
also clarified that she moved to approve the minutes, not Chair Kleine.
6) NEW BUSINESS:
a) FY26/27 CDBG Funding Cycle
a. Non -Profit Agency Presentations: The following agencies provided in -person presentations
for the Board's funding consideration.
• The Eli Home
• Creative Identity
• Community Legal Aid
• Boys and Girls Club of Central Orange Coast
• Big Brothers Big Sisters OC
• Alzheimer's Orange County
• Access California Services
7) INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: HS/NS Manager Joe Perez concluded that the presentations were
complete, noting that Harm Reduction Circle was given the opportunity to present at this meeting, and
advised to be present by 7:00 p.m., as they did not attend the 2/12/26 meeting.
8) ADJOURNMENT: Chair Kleine adjourned the meeting at 7:06 p.m. and reported that the next meeting
is scheduled for March 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
