A RESOLU'I'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF 1\NlIJIEHl FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF 'rBE I\NAHEIH z,mNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
MIEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Pro-
ceed~ngs No. 73-7~-1~ to consider an amendment to Title 18 of
the Anaheim ~unic~pal Code relating to zoning, and to consider
a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence
and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff;
and
MIEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the proposed
amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a certain zone
or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHI:<imAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Plam:,i:-lq Commission the City Council did fix the 25th day of
September, 19 73, and continued to the ---- day of ------ ,
19 -- , as the time, and the City Council Chambers in the City
Harref the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter described,
from the zone or zones in which it is now situated and the incor-
poration thereof in the zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and form provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing
before the Planning Commission, its ~eport of findings and
recommendation; and

tffiEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P~SOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

That portion of Lot 16, Anaheim Extension, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a Map of Survey by William Hamel, a copy of
which is shown in Book 3 Pages 162 to 164 inclusive of
IILos Angeles County Mapsll, in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, described as follows:
The southwesterly 170.00 feet of the following described
property:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Placentia
Avenue 60.00 feet in width and Vermont Avenue 66.00
feet in width, said point also being the southeasterly
corner of said Lot 16; thence from said point of begin-
ning and along the centerline of Vermont Avenue and the
southerly line of said Lot 16, South 740 34' 15" West
641.43 feet, more or less, to the westerly line of the
land conveyed to Bernard Schroeder by deed recorded in
Book 352 at Page 266 of Deeds; thence along the westerly
line of the land of Schroeder, North 150 27' 20" West
255.83 feet; thence entering the land of Schroeder,
North 740 34' 1511 East 712.57 feet, more or less, to the
easterly line of said Lot 16, and the centerline of
Placentia Avenue; thence along the easterly line of said
Lot 16, and the centerline of Placentia Avenue South 00
OS' 15" West 265.51 feet; more or less, to the point of
beginning.
Said land is included within the land shown on a map
filed in Book 40 Page 11 of Record of Surveys in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County.

of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a Map of Survey by William Hamel, a copy of which
is shown in Book 3 Pages 162 to 164 inclusive of "Los
Angeles County Mapsll, in the Office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Vermont Street,
66 feet wide as shown on a survey recorded in Book 18 at
Page 42 of Records of Survey, distant South 740 34' l5H
West, 471.43 feet from the intersection of the centerlines
of Vermont Street and Placentia Avenue as shown on said
survey, said point being the southeast corner of the land
conveyed to Robert A. Hahn et ux., in deed recorded August
9, 1947 in Book 1536 Page 187 of Official Records; thence
along the northeasterly line of the land of Hahn, North
150 27' 20" West 255.83 feet; thence North 740 34' lSIl
East 170 feet, thence South 150 27' 20" East 255.83 feet;
thence South 740 34' 15" West 170 feet to the point of
beginning.
Portion of said land is shown on a Map filed in Book 18
Page 42 of Record of Surveys in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County.

be excluded from R-l, SINGLE-FM1ILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE as to Parcel
No.1 and R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE as to Parcel No.
2, and both parcels incorporated in R-S-{SOOO), ONE-FAMILY ZONE,
subject to the following conditions:
1. That a final tract map of subject property shall
be submitted to and approved by the City Council and then be
recorded in the office of the Orange County Recorder.
2. That the owner{s) of subject property shall deed
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 30 feet in width from the
centerline of the street along Tyrol Avenue and Tyrol Place for
street widening purposes as stipulated to by the petitioner.
3. Prior to the introduction of an Ordinance rezon-
ing subject property, Conditions Nos. 1 and 2, above mentioned,
shall be completed. The provisions or rights granted by this
resolution shall become null and void by action of tl1e City
Council unless said conditions are complied with within one year
from the date hereof or such further time as the City Council
may grant.
BE IT FURTllliR RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of September , 1973 .
