A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS GENERAL
PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 123B, EXHIBIT NO. 1.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of March, 1974, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General
Plan Amendment does consider changing the land use densities
for an area generally designated as south of the Santa Ana
Canyon Road, east of the Newport Freeway and extending easter-
ly beyond Mohler Drive to Weir Canyon and having a southerly
boundary approximately along the Santa Ana Mountain ridgeline
in accordance with exhibits presented to the Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the Planning Commis-
sion did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC74 -62 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the
General Plan designated as Amendment No. 123B be adopted by
the City Council, changing the land use density for the afore
described area in accordance with Exhibit No. 1; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 9th day of
April, 1974, as the time and the City Council Chamber in the City
Hall as the place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment
No. 123B, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as pro-
vided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing, and did give all persons interested therein an opportun-
ity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 123B, Exhibit No. 1, changing the land use
density in the area described aforesaid, should be approved in
accordance with said Exhibit No. 1 on file in the City Planning
Commission as recommended by the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 123B to the General Plan
changing the land use density in the area generally designated
as south of the Santa Ana Canyon Road, east of the Newport Free-
way, and extending easterly beyond Mohler Drive to Weir Canyon
and having a southerly boundary approximately along the Santa
Ana Mountain ridgeline in accordance with Exhibit No. 1 on file
in the City Planning Commission be, and the same is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Development
Services Department be, and it is hereby instructed to amend
the General Plan Map to conform to General Plan Amendment
No. 123B, Exhibit No. 1 herein approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 9th day of April, 1974.
