A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did, on the 13th day of February, 1973, declare by Resolution
No. 73R-59 its intention to vacate and abandon that portion
of Mable Street, located east of Leara Street, north of Broad-
way, in the City of Anaheim, which the applicant proposes to
rededicate in a new alignment and which is more fully herein-
after described, and subject to certain conditions hereinafter
stated~ and did set the 6th day of March, 1973, for a public
hearing thereon; and

WHEREAS, on said 6th day of March, 1973, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the
City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence
submitted at said public hearing that that portion of Mable
Street, located east of Leara Street, north of Broadway, in
the City of Anaheim, described herein and in said Resolution
of Intention, is unnecessary for present or prospective road-
way and alley purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward which
a request for vacation and abandonment was directed
is not necessary for present or prospective roadway
and alley purposes and does hereby order that said
portion, as herein set forth, and which the appli-
cant proposes to rededicate in a new alignment, be
and it is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to
public use, subject to the following conditions:
(1) That the applicant reconstruct the proposed
new street to meet City of Anaheim standard
street improvements and submit plans for same
for approval of the City Engineer.
(2) That the cost of removing existing street
improvements, the cost of imprOVing the pro-
posed new street and any relocation of exist-
ing facilities be accomplished at no cost to
the City of Anaheim.
(3) That the proposed new street be dedicated at
the time of abandonment of existing roadway.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is more
fully described as follows, to wit:

All that certain parcel of land, situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, lying in
the Northwest Quarter and the Northeast Quarter of
Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, per map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps records of said County and
being a portion of the land described in that certain in-
denture between the Pacific Improvement Company and the
Southern Pacific Canpany, recorded July 24, 1893, in Book
67, page 309, of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County and
being also a portion ~f the land defined on the map of
that certain survey, filed October 18, 1971, in Book 92,
page 9, Records of Surveys, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, being more particularly bounded
and described as follows:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the West line
of that certain 60 foot wide strip of land identified as
Adams Street on said map filed in Book 92, page 9 of said
Record of Surveys, with the North line of that certain 60
foot wide strip of land identified as Mable Street, on
last said map~ thence South 880 51' 15" West, along said
North line, 385.73 feet, to the beginning of a tangent
curve, concave southwesterly, and having a radius of 73.00
feet; thence Northeasterly, Easterly, and Southeasterly,
along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of
340 00' 15", a distance of 43.32 feet to its point of tan-
gency in a line bearing South 570 08' 30" East and being
parallel with and distant Northeasterly 75 feet measured
at right angles, from the southeasterly prolongation of the
southwesterly boundary line of that certain 8.092 acre
parcel of land defined on last said map; thence South
570 08' 30" East, along last said tangent line, 84.97
feet, to its point of intersection with a line parallel
with and distant Southerly, 60.00 feet, me~ured at right
angles from said North line of Mable Street1"~enCe North
880 51' 15" East, along said parallel line being the
South line of said Mable Street, 250.97 f~t, to its
point of intersection with said West line of Adams Street;
thence North 200 14' 54" East, along said West line, 64.44
feet, to the Point of Beginning.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cau$e a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attest by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Otfice of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
