a. Earthquake Program & Supplies — Chair Barnes would like to find out what resources are
currently available through Fire & Rescue or the County and hold seminars at health fairs or
separate seminars for seniors to educate them on what to do to be prepared. She mentioned
Earthquake safety kits she found at the Orange County Food Bank and would like to look into
what services are available from the city or the county. She also suggested that residents could
have stickers to put outside their homes during an emergency that would indicate if they were
okay or if they needed assistance. Commissioner Sanchez agreed that the stickers would be a
good way to communicate needs of residents. Vice -Chair Brio suggested inviting a
representative from CERT to next month's meeting for a presentation on emergency
preparedness in the City. Commissioner Noteboom asked if they would consider holding an
emergency drill at the Senior Center; Brian Chwan indicated they could investigate that. Chair
