A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941 in connection with a request to abandon a portion
of existing excess right of way at the northwest corner of Mira-
loma Avenue and Blue Gum Street, in the City of Anaheim, more
fully hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that portion of existing
right of way at the northwest corner of Miraloma Avenue and Blue
Gum Street, in the City of Anaheim, as it may relate to the fol-
lowing described property:
That portion of dedicated road and public utility
easement located at the west side of Blue Gum, north
of Miraloma Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange. State of California, to be a3andoned, des-
cribed as;
That portion of Lot 7 in Block 8 of the Golden State
Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and
67, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line
of said lot with a line parallel with and westerly
53.00 feet from the centerline of Blue Gum Street,
40.00 feet wide, shown as an unnamed street adjoining
said lot on the east; thence 5 15° 53' 16" E, 589.58
feet along said parallel line to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave northwesterly and having a
radius of 25.00 feet, as said curve is described in the
deed recorded in Book 9468, page 652, Official Records;
thence Southwesterly 22,62 feet along said curve through
a central angle of 51° 51' 03"; thence N 77° 00' 23" E,
7.48 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve concave
northwesterly and having a radius of 25.00 feet, a
radial to said point bears 5 52° 36' 36" E; thence
northeasterly 23.28 feet along said curve through a
central angle of 53° 21' 40 to its point of tanaency
with a line parallel with the westerly 45.00 feet from
said centerline of Blue Gum Street thence 7: 15° 58' 16
W, 589.57 feet along said parallel line to said
northerly line of Lot 7; thence S 74° 01' 32 w, 8.00
feet along said northerly line to the point of beginning
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941.
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
and abandonment has been fixed on the 2nd day of July
r 1974, at 130 o'clock P.M. Council Chamber
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim.

AND RF, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim
Eulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
