A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 2602.
WHEREAS, after a request for variance by Charles A.
McLuen and Doyle W. Hill, owners, was received, a public
hearing before the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
was held upon due and proper notice as a result of which
Variance No. 2602 was denied covering the following described
property:
Those portions of Lots 4 and 5 in Block 34 of the
"Yorba Linda Tract" in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 5, Pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous
Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the northerly terminus of the course
cited as "North 9° 08' 02" East, 65.61 feet" in
Parcel No. 7 of Highway Relinquishment No. 346,
recorded July 9, 1965, in Book 7588, Page 305 of
Official Records; thence South 43° 06' 20" East
89.38 feet; thence South 52° 12' 57" East 169.91
feet; thence South 10° 16' 39" East 49.18 feet to
a point on a non tangent curve concave southeaster-
ly having a radius of 380.00 feet a radial to said
point bears north 56° 52' 21" West; thence south-
westerly 39.63 feet along said curve through a
central angle of 5° 58' 32" to a point on the
northerly line of said Parcel 7; a radial to said
point bears North 62° 50' 53" West; thence along
the northerly line of said Parcel 7 the following
courses; North 70° 35' 43" West 26.89 feet, North
58° 42' 26" West 178.59 feet, North 46° 37' 25"
West 44.15 feet, North 1° 38' 56" East 34.89 and
North 9° 08' 02" East 65.61 feet to the point of
beginning.
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by
law an interested party or the City Council on its own motion
caused the review of said Planning Commission action at a
public hearing noticed and held as prescribed by law and as a
result thereof the City Council does hereby make the following
findings:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said Variance be, and the same is hereby
denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
